I had forgotten my husband was a follower on my twitter and I had retweeted a couple posts about Helen on Thursday. So my husband came home and kept insisting Helen was going to win. He does not watch BB, and I have only been watching this year when he was out of the house, so had no clue how he even knew who Hellen was. I said now that you put that out there it is going to happen damn you jinxed me, if that is true no nookie for you for the rest of the year, I was that sure it would never happen.

Well one thing is for sure they will have to release the vote percentages and information this year. They never did release the information last year and with all the cries of fixing if they don't this year they will most likely lose a large percentage of their audience, which they can hardly afford.

I know there is a lot of talk about "buying" Hellen's win. There are people who placed $1000 bets on the first night winning $100,000. So yes I can see the buying her win angle.

Either which way she won, I am not going to finish watching the final, or BOTS for that matter. Truthfully may give this series of CBB a miss as well, at least the BOTS part for sure as I am not willing to watch the Bully crew go on and on as panelist,

Thanks to everyone here for great banter this season.

The bookies had Ashleigh way ahead until the last few days. With the initial long odds, a serious bettor would think nothing of making as many votes as possible at the last minute--each call would be an investment.

On a UK forum the reactions are much the same as here. I'm not a Helen fan, but I'm happy for her.

BOTS wasn't really worth watching. They all just seemed a bit unsure of what to say and all the series best and worst clips had Helen being awful and that was kind of awkward. And Luisa's section was weirdly flat and badly done.

It's not so much the percentages I'm interested in (although I'm always curious to know) but the voting quantity. How many votes does it now take to win BB? I think they couldn't release that though, because then people would know (if it was a small number) and would be more incentivised to do it.

CBB should be different though, and is only four weeks, worth giving a try!

(And you're welcome, Uncle Ricky, good to have you here!)

Luisa was one of the reason I didn't watch as much BOTS as I have in the past. I would also like to see less of the evicted housemates returning to Bots to be on the panel. By bringing back the current seasons evicted housemates so much it just feels like trying to keep them involved, when they are out they should be out and we shouldn't have to keep seeing them again until finale night.

Thank you Kitt for the survey link. I wonder if they do that every year or just did it as a result of this years' bad mouthing of the show.
I personally think the entire season was developed around a ploy by some producer to get people voting for their winners again. I think voting was dying out and playing up Helen to win shows once and for all you have to vote. And they have to have $ again!!! Internet and social media can have huge power in the voting world - look at the bad singers kept on American Idol just cuz online viewers think it's funny and they have the power to do it!

This is the first year I've seen the survey, but I might have missed it last year.

Viewing figures:
June Launch show: 2 million viewers
Last night's finale: 1.5 million viewers
Average viewers: 1.25 million per show
Final BOTS: 1 million viewers

2013 Season
Finale: 2.1 million viewers first show, 1.75 million second show
Average viewers: 1.5 million per show

Celeb BB often gets 3 or 4 million viewers.

Steven has said he spent £5,000 on voting for Helen. That's 10,000 votes.

If Steven put in his bet early, he made a packet. However, it puts another light on his vitriolic comments about other HMs than Helen. I read that the cast party was hosted by his family. If that's true, it must have been one uncomfortable scene.

They replayed Steven's convo with Kimberly about how many countries he had been to in his travels and he mentioned 190. I remember thinking that was a ridiculous number & finally looked up how many countries there are total & this site only claims 196 total countries in the world.

I always heard 119 not 190. I'm sure at least half of them were stopovers on a plane though ;).

I had a dream about Chris last night. I met him somewhere and got on well with him, and then he was talking about buying an apartment. Later he took me there, and from one room I said it had a particularly nice view, he said something like "great, this is your room" then told me he'd leased the place for us .

It was a nice place though!

LOL about your dream Kitt! I'm sure Chris is your ideal roommate!
On that note, I had a dream a couple of nights ago about Mark and Christopher. They were both vampires in my dream ( I usually dream about zombies so vampires was a new one for me!) -- but I was still mostly worried about them talking about me to other people! Guess I'm more scared of gossip than the undead!

Gossiping vamps, lol! That seems just like Mark and Christopher.

Just had a look in the online newspapers for ex-hms... can hardly find a thing. Soon forgotten.

Kitt, I'm sure 119 is the number he said & I just heard 190 (I call BS on either number for a 23yo though) but it got me to wondering how many countries there were in the world & anyone who has been to half of them would be impressive (if true). I'm sure every time he took the Chunnel to France, he counted it as another country that he visited (he didn't say "different" countries lol)

I don't think he could have done it either. If he was that much of a traveller he'd have spent years doing it, and would have stories but there was nothing like that. Unless he did several train trips that went through the country dense areas, like the West side of Africa for example, then I don't know how he could get anywhere near that number. Maybe he counts countries he flew over ;).
