A friend just sent a post she got from a father whose wife and daughters were abducted and taken far inside far inside Gaza. He know that from tracking his wife's phone. The daughters are 4 and 5.

Oh his mother in law also abducted and the girls are 2.5 and 4.

Seamonkey, they've shown images of that mother and 2 young girls several times on the news, huddled together and crying in the back of a truck. That's also how he knew.

Sorry, I wasn't clear, yes, he knew later when he saw the images of them being taken away, but even before that he was on the phone with his wife and knew it was bad.
Yes I later saw the images on tv, but my friend sent me the info earlier. I think she got them while contacting family in Israel.
One of my friends sent me the post he made.
Then he tracked her phone to a location deep in Gaza.
I also read on Instagram that the phones of those abducted have been used to go into WhatsApp and convince neighbors that it is safe to come out of safe rooms. (probably not her phone, but possibly, as they wouldn't have to be local when they used the app).
There have been other images of people seeing their loved one taken away or being on a phone and hearing it.

Alex has continued to post "we shall overcome" type posts with pictures of Israeli army and such.
I haven't seen any update on his family. And quite possibly he is avoiding any connection for his family with him in the U.S. He did post about the U.S. Carrier being deployed.

Now he has a post that popped up (from 8 hours ago) where he has a tree in back of him and says he and his immediate family are ok but everything is not and then goes on to describe. If he is IN Israel, or not, is not clear. Lots of support replies, lots of hate replies. This is on Instagram, I am sure they post elsewhere.

I am binging the series - almost done with season 5 now and I am trying not to check on status of couples until a season is finished but it is clear couples were much stronger in the early seasons - i know it get worse as seasons progress but again trying not to read ahead too much including reading these threads as i get to each season.. one thing i never saw commented on was how controlling Libby's sisters were. Whether we see Andrei as controlling or not, its beyond frustrating when i see these elitists brats think ALL people want to party/drink/have a wild bachelorette party etc. Its NOT something everyone wants or does. And people should respect that. I saw it in past seasons too with people thinking everyone does things the way they do things. Same with Evelyn...her David might be too uptight (or uncomfortable) on some things but she is the most controlling person i have seen yet - i dont even want to associate it to only being 18, age has nothing to do with it... my son was already talking about all the things his partner would have a CHOICE in doing way back at age 6... Evelyn definitely was raised in a closed/elitist environment where she thinks things are all one way when its so not the case. (and hey, i have no issues loving the place you were raised and wanting to stay there - but her dialogue and lack of compromise in how things are COMMUNICATED... its like she not listening to what David is saying, that she doesn't believe there are other ways of living or other perspectives.
(I wont get into an analysis of all the couples - just wanted to share that frustration - which i see in my own extended step family with comments like "its not a party until the beer is here" - but Nicole was SO desperate for love and her idea of love is physical contact)

Legal, you have so much in front of you, especially if you go through all the different versions of 90 day. And of course Pillow Talk is often awesome as couples watch and comment.
Libby's sisters, especially one were frustrating but her brother and his wife.. worse.
I have to say I don't remember that much about Evelyn.

I haven't finished season 6 yet but totally see why online bloggers/reviewers say its one of the worse... many thoughts about other couples but for now, just wanted to throw in it is NO shock at all how racist that part of Pennsylvania is/was especially at that time. Pennsylvania is almost all red except in/near the big cities. I saw the extremism first hand when visiting an organization before closing it down... it was run out of the owner's house in "New Philadelphia" which is this tiny town in the middle of the state - the organization was designated by federal regulations to operate but the owner had the mindset that god laws come before man's laws - and sent me the whacked map of Kenya when people didnt think Obama was born in the US. I totally get Jay and Ashley's fears considering when we served the sanction on the organization I closed, instead of submitting some statement to appeal it, the owner left me a 12 minute voice mail rant. So if i was a bit concern about that person coming to our offices with a weapon or finding my home address, I can only imagine how Jay felt with the racism added into such hate and threats.

Sea - in the old comments at the time of the season, many barely saw them on screen compared to the others - but they went to elope in Vegas because of all the racist threats and people dropping out of the wedding. Jay was from Jamaica.

I know only two couples stay together from season 6 (as of this year). Shocked about one of them who still are together. There definitely were so many self centered people in season 6…
I still have two episodes left but was hoping to see a glimpse of Bowie, Maryland as boring as it is, since it’s 20 minutes away from annapolis, but looks like Steven and Olga never make it out of Russia during filming. I also suspect Olga was here on a J visa working at ocean city that summer they met, since that is one of the exchange programs i deal with, which, if true, means she was in college at the time. Glad they found love …hope it lasts with two kids now.
