In fairness to Nick he did tell Rachel why he kept the money in no uncertain terms.
It was her own fault that he rebuffed her when she ran after him.
I don't know why he didn't hold in his glee in the limo till after the camera was turned off.

If I had just won $250,000 I don't know that I could hold it in either.
He explained very clearly why he kept the money, she should have left it at that. She ran after him and if I'm not mistaken all the name calling and ugliness came from her.

Rachel reminded me of my daughter when she was a little girl and I explained to her why something didn't go her way. I would explain it three but she'd keep asking me ~~but why why why~~ I wouldn't answer her why's a 4th time because I knew she heard me the first three times. I knew she wanted to hear a different answer that would somehow make things go her way....that's what Rachel reminded me of. I don't see Nick giggling in the privacy of the car as rude just natural...of course he would smile, grin and giggle he just won 250K from a bunch of people that didn't give him the time of day Hahaha....I'm still giggling myself. It was a great win.

bama said I loved Nick keeping the money. And everyone was just upset because they got outplayed by someone they gave no credit to.
that is exactly it!!!! they couldn't stand they were outsmarted by a nobody!

When you have a group of people staring at you in disbelief and wanting to slit your throat for keeping all the money, it's hard to be gracious. He knew they didn't vote for him, they voted for Rachel. He just happened to be her partner in the end! These people were not his friends, that is why he just picked himself up and walked out the door. He won and he had nothing more to say to them.

I have to put in a good word for Chris. He's a regular guy not a serial bachelor/ette. Blakely was a horror show who threatened to punch him in the throat. I thought it was great when he got rid of her and got another partner. The second one was so silly and chattering constantly and had zero personality. I can forgive him for losing her also. I thought he made a good pair with the third one. I did not mind that Nick ended up with the cash. Rachel and Michael played a lying dishonest and shameful game.

Rachel's like a payola radio song: she gets played all the time!
I have to think the producer's probably urged Nick to go for it.
Please make Rachel the next Bachelorette.
Please make a Tony-Blakely and son reality show as well.

I think Nick is awesome for his game play in winning the game.
I think Nick is a tool for his harsh treatment of Rachel in winning the game. I don't blame him for being honest with her (and all the other players) about why he did what he did. But, a little compassion on his part towards Rachel would not have cost him anything. In fact, his lack of compassion reveals a nasty side to his character, imho.

I really don't think Nick owed that to Rachel. I don't think he was mean to her at all. She was nasty to him. She was one of the cool kids and couldn't believe he wouldn't just hand over the money to her. Yes it took both of them to win but she didn't make it easy.

YAY, I'm excited too Brenda. Roberto is sooooooooooooooo 5-6 seasons ago.
It should be interesting with Sean. I'm hoping that this show can eliminate some of the sleaze factor.

Yes, I would much rather watch Sean than Ali's sloppy seconds. Sounds like Roberto's temper was a big factor in their breakup. Why would any woman want to sign up for that, other than the whole being on tv thing.

I don't know if anyone remembers Gia - she was on The Bachelor and Bachelor Pad. I always thought she was one of the most beautiful people they ever had on the show. Well, something happened down here in New Orleans (not quite sure what it was), and she's on life support.
Gia Allemand in critical condition
This article is very vague so I'm going to try to peruse online to see what I can find.

Seeming to "have it all" does not prevent a person from still feeling sad on the inside. Depression is a chemical imbalance in the brain. We don't know what kind of pain she was in. So, so sad.
