Love my air fryer, especially for fries. No idea what brand, it was a Christmas gift.

Ok, I got one, LOL. Should be here tomorrow or the next day. I ended up getting a Ninja 4 quart - they mentioned one of the cons was it was small for a family, best for 2 to 4 people. That was perfect for me. I got it on sale at Walmart.

Naja:
Thank you for that link but I can’t make heads or tails of figuring out if these are full episodes and how to see them in order. It’s like they are random unmarked episodes. Can you give me the code so I can watch in order?

Julieboo, they are just listed with newest episodes first. The dates they aired are above the ep as well as the episode number.

For example, the first one listed (the finale) says Survivor "12-24"...that is season 12, episode 24

Then under that it says "14 April 2025" which is the date it aired.

I think on the third page is where that season starts. It would be titled "12-1".

Cookie dough in the airfryer for 12 min = amazing cookies!

When our gas was out for 2 weeks we cooked all our chicken in the airfryer. We used it to heat up water to wash dishes.

Oh, crapola - about the french fries. Bigdog, the cook in our house, has just found out about making potato chips in the microwave, and they are quite good if eaten fresh out of the microwave. Yes, potato chips are not french fries, but maybe they are if they are something in between potato chips that you make yourself using a mandolin and fresh potatoes, and they are crisp like french fries, but have not endured the frying process.

Anyway, let me know in my folder or at any of the emails any of you have for me or on Facebook, if you want the recipe.

Dipo, I prefer real potatoes, but frozen fries also work. I just cut the potatoes into little wedges. Yum.

I had an air fryer, bright red.. But then read that they use more power than a microwave and my electricity to the kitchen was already half off so I just had it new in box and donated it to the rotary club when they collected items for Marine couples moving into base housing at Camp Pendleton and they often move in with almost nothing, so they can choose from the items to furnish their quarters. I think it made a young couple or family very happy.

An air fryer may use more electricity than a microwave but it can do things a microwave can’t do or do as well. We love ours.

Okay, I will leave a note for Bigdog to give me the recipe and will post it here - not sure if he has it written down. And, of course they have to be eaten right away, as far as I can tell, or they will absorb moisture. Although that may not be a problem in SoCal.

Mack, I am sure it can, but the idea of taking out the electrical outlet for other things I do use just wasn't worth it. Between the microwave and toaster oven and Whole Foods hot items, I am well fed. And I like to think that red air fryer made a marine and family happy.

I do have a red microwave, though.

Naja, I don’t see season 1, episode 1. Does that site start with season 12?

It looks like they only go back to season 6. I'll look around for earlier seasons.

We have a double basket air fryer and we put it away in our pantry which is right in our kitchen. For sure it would take up too much room on our island or counters to leave out all the time.

Bigdog sent me this today to share with y'all on the microwave potato chips:

you need: a mandolin that is adjustable
Potatoes
olive oil
salt
parchment paper
brush

slice washed potato thin and place in a ice bath for 10 - 15 minutes, change water to
remove some of the starch. With your fingers separate slices and stir the water.
spread chips on a tea towel and place another on top and press down to dry the slices.
I've only used parchment paper but using paper towel might work as good. I just
happen to have parchment paper.
place the parchment paper on a serving dish and arrange potato slices...micro wave
on high for 1 1/2 minutes. Remove and flip each slice over. Brush this side with
olive oil, don't apply with a heavy hand, a lightly loaded brush will paint 3,4 slices, add
salt and micro wave .....this is the tricky part, start with 1 1/2 minutes and look at the
slices, you don't want brown crispy chips, so at this point , add seconds in the microwave
until they just start to brown a little bit. let them cool and they should be crunchy like
Lay's chips. bon appetit.
