Funny the behind the scenes piece with one of the showrunners said that they planned this ending and that we would get some answers. I think I had more questions. Usually when a series end, I can kind of imagine where the show would have gone had it continued. I couldn't figure where this one would have gone.

Yeah, that seemed more like a cliff hanger than a finale. But when Kate and Will had that long convo in the hallway, I saw why it was canceled. We never could get behind them, because *both* of them became unlikable. The ratings dropped 36% between last season and this one.

And it didn't help that we had to wait until May for the Season 3 premiere (whereas seasons 1 and 2 both premiered in January). When there's a gap like that, people assume it's been canceled or they move on to other shows. I'm very sad to see its demise. I thought Wayne Brady was really good as Kynes - I was skeptical about how he'd handle a dramatic role.

I liked Wayne Brady too! If they had let on that he was a good guy sooner, it might have helped the show... we needed someone to root for!

It would be really awesome if Sci-Fi Channel would pick it up, but I understand that it is a very expensive show to make.

Well, that "ending" sucked. It was more like a season finale than a series finale. I can't think that they'd had time to wrap things up if they just found out it was canceled a few days ago. I don't think that was supposed to be the finale. I feel cheated.

OK. l;ets try and fill in some details, Notice when the other alien came in a room people would collapse and it would take a while until the person at the end of the the room collapsed - it was passing gas - very smelly. that is why the war started with the first aliens, they could not share a room with them. Endless arguments eventually a worlds war. Like in a whole worlds. anyone else want to add more to the story?

I finally watched my recording last night. Am I the only person that was worried about whether the cat who was evacuated survived the gas attack? Also, I'm guessing Kate's sister was sent to the moon. I didn't know what happened to her after last season but with her reaction to the factory being gone and her saying she had no one left, I assumed that's where her sister went.

actually I have since read that it was vibrations that took the people out from the aliens, not gas It seemed odd that vibrations would travel so slowly, but it was vibrations in the summaries of all others so it must have been mentioned or whown and i missed it. .

I need to go read the summaries. I'm still worried about whether the cat survived the vibrations or gas... or whatever it was.

Wow. This series ends on such s downer Will is likely going to die fighting. Kate seems to be outside the Seattle wall and appeared doomed. I guess the kids stay with that family under the protective shield thing. And broissiere goes underground to wait out the war and build the resistance. I’m going to miss this show.

You mean that was it? That was the end of the show? Will is being turned into some hybrid fighter and his family is scattered all over!

Am I the only person that was worried about whether the cat who was evacuated survived the gas attack? Lexie, me too!!! I didn't think it was gas. I thought it was some kind of sonic wave that overwhelmed the human nervous system. It wasn't clear whether they were actually dead or just unconscious. Very disappointing finale!!!

I loved loved loved this show. I had a serious case of the sadz when it was canceled. But I think the show was just too expensive to make for another network to pick it up.
