This last season has really been terrible. I haven’t liked a single episode. Why aren’t the kids having a bigger role. Luke hasn’t been in hardly any episodes and the others are only briefly shown.

I agree Lakecat, this season has been dismal. I definitely miss Lily, her lines have always been great zingers well delivered.
I will be quite peeved if Mitch & Cam move to Missouri. Cam has often talked about both liking and not liking growing up on the farm, enough to drive you crazy. I think they would both regret such a move.

If Mitch and Cam move to Missouri it will be to a college town and not a farm since they will make the move so Cam could coach college ball...

It would be a ridiculous choice for Mitch and Lily as well as Cam. Many schools prefer coaches to have a Masters Degree. The degree is preferred to be in a PE/sports related area of study. I seem to recall Cam has a Bachelor's degree in music.
Obviously, I am not the show runner much to my dismay .

well... I'm sure those preferences exist in real life... HOWEVER! this is a sitcom... soooo anything goes. Not sure what position he's being considered for... probably Head Coach... 
Not to mention Cam has only been coaching for a couple years... not sure if Cam (the character) played college football...

A bit surprised no one has posted about the series finale last night. It was satisfactory for the series. Did love Jay's and Cam/Mitchell's next chapter. The rest felt too easy for the writers. I thought last season's finale was better.

I thought the last few episodes, including the final felt rushed.
I hated the Mitch, Cam, Lily & baby Rex move.
I did like the Dunfy kids moving out and moving on with being young adults.
Not sure what I think about Manny travelling the world alone, they made him rather needy and clingy. Joe was a hoot, stealing Manny's wallet, handcuffing him...
Jay started learning Spanish years ago that went nowhere.

Just watched the pre-show online at abc.com. It was good, but they show too many commercials, that you can't skip over. The finale was good.

I enjoyed "A Modern Farewell". Love seeing auditions, etc. Love behind-the-camera stuff. All the camera equipment and related. Watch the shows and you're in the Dunphys' and Pritchetts' houses . . . movie sets! I would have loved to work behind the camera -- production assistant = gopher?!

I really enjoyed the first hour, the behind the scenes... It would be nice if they do a Mitch/Cam spin off...
I thought they were going to show the documentary folks similar to The Office...
