No posts since December? Wow!
This has been a good season. I always thought the Blake/Stevie thing would happen.
Will be interesting to watch the Presidential campaign unfold but will they have to change the name of the show to Madame President if she wins?

No no I love this show and watch religiously. Will she really run for President. Now she and her staff get to run around the world which is interesting but if she has to just sit in the Oval it seems boring to me...

Her running for President lets it be a commentary on current events just like it is now.

So it’s really Madame President. They kind of rolled that title during the show but the basic name seems to be staying. We like the show but hear it is basically canceled and they are just running ten episodes to wrap up the series. You can always hope it will do well and get extended.

They did announce some time ago that it would be a short final season. I will watch it until the end. I like that they take some of the story lines from what is happening in this country right now. I didn't think the writing was as good as usual, but still enjoyed the show. .

This is sort of feel-good television. Like America used to be. The good guys always win. So it also makes me sad. Looks like they are leaning heavily on modeling this right along America's recent history.

My dh and I didn't realize that we just watched the last episode...ever. I did a goggle search to confirm and yup, this awesome show that we have enjoyed watching together has come to an end. We both are sad about learning this fact.
I also learned through goggling that Tea and Tim are a real life couple since 2014. I didn't know that fact either. And lastly, it was fun watching Tim & Tyne Daly having their conversation in that last episode....and yes, I didn't realize they were brother and sister!
Good bye Madame Secretary, your show will be greatly missed.

I loved that they brought back all the characters for this episode so that we could see what happened to all of them as well. Very enjoyable ending for the series.

Oh nooooo!!! I had no idea either. I am watching it in order on cbs.com, about one episode a week. I do this with all of the current shows I like on cbs, because if I let them get too much age on them, they are no longer free. I am about up to Nov. 17 in my watching. It sort of bothers me to watch it these days because they sort of mirror current events, EXCEPT things always work out for the good guys, unlike what is happening in real life in our country.

About as good a closure show as I guess you can have for a series. We’ve enjoyed the series and will miss it.

I watched final two episodes tonight. Loved all the inside references, like going on Dancing With the Stars, and the Russian cousin who got a fake tan because he thinks Americans do that. LOL.
Entirely satisfactory ending, especially the second to last episode wrapping up the impeachment, and the story about the ten year old girl whose mother drove her ten hours overnight from Atlanta so she could protest.
