That was funny, Pamy.
I saw clips of Cher doing her 2nd song and it did look like she sang that one. I guess I was just being grinchy. 😝

No, Rieann, you're not a grinch. I had the same reaction to Cher's first song because I still remember the reaction to the Simpson sister when she lip synced all those years ago but Naja's explanation makes sense. I was glad when Cher sang the 2nd song to know that she still has her voice.

Remember Cher's hit in the late 90s "Believe"? It had that same voice effect. I saw her in concert for the tour for that album and I know she was singing live, but they still put that effect in the song like it has on the released recording. So she can sing live and still sound like that for sure.

I have looked forward to Ryan Gosling hosting tonite's SNL for weeks and it is complete trash!
The only thing that was slightly amusing but disturbing was his Wonka type skit.
The cast is dismal. all the good cast members left. Chloe is the only girl I find funny

I was looking forward to it too, Pamy. What a disappointment! Most of the sketches were just stupid. I did chuckle a few times at the one where the blind men had to answer a riddle to get the treasure.

They were cyclops. I think they were having issues seeing their lines through the makeup, so kept changing what was being said. I was pretty sure that Mikey Day was going off script.
I enjoyed most of the skits and thought the Weekend Update was the best in awhile, except the Kenan bit.

OMG, I was laughing so hard at the video skit "MAHAspital" LOL!
My favorite line was "My parents died from the covid vaccine. I found out they got it and I shot them"..haha

my fav part was when they said the patient was vegan and he pulled the plug LOL It's not that I dislike vegans it was so funny how the actor was so serious in character doing it LOL
and the girl that immitated nurse Dana, her voice spot on haha
