Personally I was disappointed. I was hoping for more skits and replays of the classics like the Lubner's, Wide Ends, Rosanne Rosanna Danna and The Cone Heads.

There was a lot of discussion on Twitter about it but what I saw didn't live up to the hype.

If you missed the show, looks like NBC will be replaying it next weekend.

So far I have really enjoyed it. Loved the beginning with Jimmy and Justin, and I was LMAO when Justin said "My dick in a box" and they aired it. I think the original was bleeped. Then Steve Martin was pretty good and I loved all the pre-recorded clips, LOL.

NOw I am watching their jeopardy, LOL. I can't wait to see what "Sean Connery" has to say, ok he does the break of the words and says Ads, instead of Who Reads. I love how they have him change the categories.

Not sure why we needed a Paul McCarthy moment of music, does he have a CD coming out or something?

Politics section is really good.

Weekend Update with Amy Poehler, Tina Fey and Jane Curtin was pretty funny.

I cracked up at the theme song for Jaws, and the Blues Brothers was good as well.

Ok, that Eddie Murphy bit was weird. Chris Rock was excellent but Eddie didn't do anything so what was the point.

I guess I didn't tape long enough, the last thing I saw was Paul Shaffer and then my tape ended. Does anyone know if there was anymore?

It was scheduled as 3.5 hours. Through the years, I never watched SNL much. Still aware of many comedians and sketches, etc. though. I recorded it Sunday night and am watching it now. Laughing. I hope CBS sells DVD of Sunday night.

I would like to watch this again. It was so fun to watch. I had trouble recognizing Joe Piscopo when he sang Sinatra. He looked nothing like himself.

The whole Eddie Murphy thing probably had to do with the fact that he has held a grudge over something that was said many many years ago. The fact that he was even there was kind of amazing because he said.. all those years ago... that he would never go to SNL ever again.

What was it that he was holding a grudge about?

I was extremely disappointed. Basically a clip show, the funniest parts was the new stuff and there was some but not nearly enough. What the heck was funny about The Californians. Even the kiss wasn't funny, it was cool for Betty.

LOL, Jenjackso, I couldn't figure out what the point of the Californians was either, and it wasn't funny.
