Season Finale tonight and Tina Fey is hosting. I find her amazing. I could do without tonight's musical guest, Nicki Minaj .

Tina Fey is an incredibly talented and funny woman. Her book is a pleasure to read.

About the opening scene....If they would have put a big bowl bowl of onion rings in the middle of the table in that restaurant, I think more people would have recognized where that scene came from. LOL

I knew as soon as the song from the jukebox came on.

It was hilarious! Loved the first skit and the Weekend Update. Kanye's first song was weird, he was dressed like a Perrier bottle and the other singer like a Fuji Water bottle.

I just love Michael Che. His observation about Kavanaugh's job interview was so right on!

How can anyone take Kanye seriously??? He is a nut job, for sure. I wonder sometimes if Kim K. wonders why she married him. She didn't need his money.

I only watched the beginning with Matt Damon, laughed so hard I cried. Then I always watch the news skit. That's about all I watch anymore. Love the news.

One line in the opening skit that had me laughing until it hurt was "I'm a keg is half full kinda guy". LOL!

TMZ is reporting that Ariana Grande and
Pete Davidson have broken up and cancelled their engagement.

SNL had made so much of their relationship that I feel bad for Pete.

Apparently, her ex boyfriend that died has really impacted her. My guess is she was not really over him.

She was supposed to appear at a cancer benefit honoring her manager's (Scooter Braun) wife and was instead backstage at SNL. Apparently he is quite annoyed (according to The Kidd Kraddick Show Showbiz Top 5 this morning). Professionalism?

I realize she is young, that she was deeply impacted by the mass shooting at the concert (in England, right?), and her breakup with Mac Miller, jumping right into another relationship and then Mac Miller's subsequent death, hope she gets some much needed help dealing with all that emotional baggage.

Yes, she has pretty much gone into seclusion now. I feel bad for Pete Davidson. I think he is really in love with her.

Jason Momoa is hosting this weekend. I know he is there to promote his new movie, but I hope he gets to do a "Game of Thrones" skit as his old character Drogo.

hahaha!

I don't recall Drogo ever wearing a shirt :-)
(and I'm pretty sure his new character Aquaman doesn't either)

I'm guessing the odds are pretty high he won't be wearing a shirt at some point....LOL

Last week's show was very good including the skit parodying "AM JOE" on MSNBC. Kate was great as Rudy Guiliana and as Mika Brezinski.

Yes, his monologue was very touching as he shared his history of watching SNL as an 8 year old. When his voice started breaking just a teeny tiny bit, I got teary-eyed too.
