Hi, y'all! Football season is almost here again! I can't wait! My beloved Cowboys will be playing this Thursday night in the Hall of Fame game!
I'm just checking in to say I'm ready to join both of the football games we have on here! Who's football pool game and Bob's pick 3 game! Who, will you be doing the preseason this year? I'm looking forward to the regular season and playing both games! Bring it on!!

Whoami did request the new 2017 Football folders yesterday and plans to start preseason picks in week 3. So, no picks this week and then 2 weeks to make picks and get teams together.

Sorry to report that I will not be running the "TVCH Fantasy Football - Pick 3 Game" this year. Too many things going on this fall and a tenuous work situation, so something had to give.
Thanks to all who have played over the years. It was good 11 year run. I think we had over 10 people at one point, but have basically dwindled to 4 last year.
I've looked around to see if there was an on-line version of a game similar to this that can be set up as a private league, but all I have found is the tradition Fantasy Football games.

Aaron Rodgers leading people he was vaccinated.. he called it ’immunized’... but basically lied about it. Now he has COVID and will probably miss 2 games. I’ve always liked Rodgers, but what a selfish, selfish move on his part. Just venting about it. My opinion of him has dropped a notch, or more than a notch. Dumb move for a pretty smart guy.

Fans got a real kick in the butt this season.
Thursday Night Football will solely be on Amazon Prime. The last couple years they shared it with FOX.
I have Amazon Prime, but I still think it's a crappy thing to do.

When Brock Purdy went back into the NFC championship game yesterday in the 2nd half after the backup Johnson suffered a concussion, he was playing with a completely torn UCL. Kind of amazing that he was even able to move the arm. I can’t imagine the pain that he was in.
Even though I live in Portland, I’m a huge Niners fan and have been all my life. I usually go to one game a year at Levi’s. Due to weird circumstances this year, I was able to attend 3 games at Levi’s. Saw Purdy play in person at Levi’s twice, including the Seahawk playoff game. The fans just loved him. It just makes me very sad that he has this injury after the amazing season that he had. I hope he can get back to playing next year, but I fear that he’s gone for the 2024 season.
