I just happened across this youtube video comparing scenes from "Feud" of the characters filming scenes from various movies to the actual movie scenes with Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. Feud: Bette and Joan | Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange - scene comparisons (20 minutes, 10 seconds) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxiX6NGf0ig ---- I didn't realize we had seen them making that many different scenes in that many different movies in "Feud"! I guess that's what happens when one watches the episodes one per week. I have plans to binge the whole season with a friend of mine....I always get more out of them the second time around.

It was a total accident...I was looking up a video of a "Squirrel king" in Bangor! The Feud comparison video was featured on the same page.

I watched Wild Oats with Jessica Large and Shirley Maclaine the other night. Overall predictable but had some funny bits so not a bad way to pass the time. Anyway, seeing Jessica Lane reminded me how much I enjoyed Fued. The original is of course a classic. I recall there was a remake with the Redgrave sisters but don't think it was memorable. That got me thinking who I would like to see if there was a remake today. (Although I prefer leaving iconic classics alone.) My choices: Allison Janney and Jane Lynch We generally see them in more comedic roles, but they have the acting chops to do it. I don't think they are necessarily obvious choices either, which I like. Boy, I really rambled to get to my point, anyway what do you think or who else would you suggest?

I read where Olivia De Havilin is suing the producers of Fued for her depiction on the show.

I just read that. I can't help but wonder is it really her idea or an heir looking to fatten Olivia's coffers for their inheritance?

So happy that Jackie Hoffman got an Emmy nomination. She was AWESOME as Mamacita. I really hope she wins. It's nice to see character actors get recognition after so many years.
