I didn't watch the junior So You Think You Can Dance and I won't watch a junior DWTS. I like to see grown people dance - people I can relate to. What would they do? Have child stars? Have junior pros? Oh no, I'll see y'all the next "real" season.

I didn't watch jr SYTYCD either, but a friend did and said it was great. In all likelihood I won't watch this as I'll be busy watching other things. DWTS is a good spring into summer show when many others have wrapped up.

I think a large part of dance involves emotion and the interpretation of emotion and that is something that is gained through age and experience.

One of my favorite things about DWTS is how much some of the "stars" appreciate the experience. Regardless of their level of fame, many of them seem to have truly loved being on the show and the relationships they form with other castmates and pros. I don't think younger people will appreciate it to the same extent.

Exactly Jimmer and Roxip. It won't have that deep emotional connection that adults can bring. Excited kids are cute, but the interest is short lived.

Was Demi Moore ever on DWTS? For some reason, I thought Rumer knew members of the cast before her season. And for some reason, I thought I read that her and Val stayed friends after her season.

I don't think Demi has ever been on the show although I suspect they have asked her more than once. I did think that Rumer and Val stayed friends - didn't they do the DWTS tour?
