It's too early for me to tell who I'm rooting for. I really didn't want that girl that "changed her mind" to be given an opportunity to go forward, after all she picked the one she had, originally.

Grooch, I didn't like that woman that switched "teams" either... but I think they intentionally pick a villanous in each season. She is it.
Surprised there are only 3 farmers this season, and the one who raises steers doesn't own a ranch yet? Is that what he said?
In a different season there was also a very isolated farmer. The gal he chose was from a big city. They broke up.
Even more surprised that the host said they had 250 successful marriages worldwide. I don't think there has been a single successful one from the US version. Maybe this will be the exception.

I felt bad for the woman with a child. She seemed like she was a perfect match. I understand, the farmer is young, and doesn't want to be in that situation. But I think he really missed out.
If he was older, good chance he wouldn't have cared so much and might have included her with the group he picked. Which farmer didnt pick her?

The woman who switched farmers didnt bother me so much for wanting to switch. If you know you don't click with the 1st one, why not give it a whirl with a different one?
But yes, she does look like she's there to play the villain. We shall see.

Kar, I think you might be right about the rodeo guy. I think it was on one of the dates that he said he was looking to buy one.
But, does his family own one and he took off to join the rodeo instead of helping with his family, and now he wants his own?
I do believe he said he owns a protein something company.

Maybe he rents land to farm. Isabella Rossellina owns a very large parcel of land out on Long Island and I know a person who rents a few acres from her to farm. It's a very successful farm. It costs $1,000 a summer just to get a CSA share, and she sells a lot of her produce to local restaurants and ones in NYC.
So, maybe he rents.

Yay! Summer House has a new episode tonight, too. And they have a scandal that rivals Scandavol. Who knew that was even possible?
With Roku, I think I can figure out how to record Summerhouse. I'll watch Farmer/Wife first, since I have peeps who watch it, too.

Ha! I was able to set them both to record. Just in case I fall asleep near the end of it. I have a bad habit with that. Always the last 10 minutes and when the show is over, I wake up. Lol!

So what did everyone think of this week's Farmer/wife episode? I can't believe Illinois farmer kept the woman who switched farmers. She is absolutely there for fame. He should have kicked her butt back home. Production must have made him keep her. That or he doesn't have a very strong back bone.
And that woman from Texas, who got the first date, and stuck those pictures on the fridge. She needs to go too. Very aggressive.
For some reason, I can't remember the rodeo farmer's segment. Somebody refresh it for me so I don't have to rewatch it. Lol!

Don't look Lauren (the gal that switched). She is not suited for that life!
I was okay with the woman who got the first date, but I agree the pics on the fridge were insensitive.
They showed very little of the rodeo farmer's date, they rode horses and had a campfire. Looked she had never ridden before.... again, I wonder about compatibility.
