Wow Angelina was sure projecting "look at me" with sticking her leg out of her dress in the pose and those bright red lips! She looked good except her arms look a little too thin.

I liked her dress a lot, but couldn't quite figure out the front of the gown. It seemed like one side was higher than the other, or was that an illusion? With black on black, hard to tell!

"The Wizard of Oz Focus Group was funny"--I agree: I was delighted to see Christopher Guest's acting ensemble reunited again! I loved the folk-singing mockumentary they did a number of years ago, and the one about actors waiting to be nominated for Oscars! The names of those films escape me, but not the enjoyment of the writing and the ensemble cast, reunited here tonight.

I enjoyed last night quite a bit. Was glad to see Hugo get some recognition. Meryl Streep was the only surprise of the evening. Was glad to see Rango get animation. Fun evening.

I can't believe Rango won for animated feature. That was the worst POS I've ever sat through. And, one of the 'rodents' faces looked and moved like it was genitalia. Disgusting.

I thought Angelina looked foolish when she struck her pose on the stage. She did the same pose outside for the photogs and somehow, it came off better on the red carpet than it did up on the stage. ROFL at the guy who mimicked her.

Yeah, the Jolie pose was awkward and the guy immitating was a hoot. So, my friend says he saw DiCaprio in the audience near Nolte. I think he needs to clean his glasses. Was DiCaprio there? I don't think so.

My friend mistook Nolte's son for DiCaprio. Yes, he really does need to clean his glasses!

I thought Rango was very good. Not a particularly good movie for little kids but fun otherwise. You've mentioned the genitalia before but I didn't see it that way?

Well, being animated, we took kids. I went with some other parents and their kids too. We all came to the same consensus. To us, it was neither funny, charming, or cinnematically intriguing to us. Just odd.

I don't think it is safe to assume that just because a film is animated that it is automatically going to be appropriate for little kids. That said, my daughters enjoyed it (they are 10 and 12 though so I wouldn't describe them as little kids). Like most Johnny Depp films it is a little different. You either like them or you don't.
