ITA GAL. That was cringeworthy with Kirk Douglas. And I'm sorry, but that Leo woman is just too, too over the top. Simply put, she's an egotistical vulgarian. Cannot. stand. her. Makes me wonder how much of her part in The Fighter was acting!

So far, it's one of the worst I've ever watched. It has a very strange vibe going on.
Hope it picks up.

Halle Berry always looks amazing. Her and her ex used to own a house here and she would look fabulous just walking down the street or shopping.

i liked her in the Fighter. She reminded me of my aunt and the girls my cousins.

King's Speech for screenplay. Awesome.

Holly, I don't know anything about Leo except for the controversy over the past few weeks. Haven't seen anything she's done. But I don't like what I've seen so far, that's for sure.

Oh dear. They're going to be making fun of her for the rest of the night (maybe the rest of her life) for that "f" word LOL.

So the Social Network and King`s Speech both win for writing.

Holly I think they want to change things so they are trying new stuff that seems a little off.

Russle Brand is coming up. I am sure he will have a few comments about the F word.

I have only seen her at the Golden Globes and she was a big old PITA there too. She strikes me as a totally self absorbed egomaniac. What controversy, GAL? (And what a contrast to the older man who just won for King's Speech screenplay!)

She paid for her own ads to win the award. That is a big nono!

Ok so my pick did not win for foreign film. But In a Better World, I am told is an amazing film. it has not come out here yet but will be here soon.

Who was that last winner? (Christian Bale???)

ETA, it was. Wow, I had no idea he had such an accent. He was really good in the Fighter.

Nice speech from Christian Bale although he started off a bit rocky.

Nicole Kidman has messed with her face so much I can hardly stand to look at her.

Wow. It really is spreading the awards amongst many films. I like it and am happy not one film is winning everything.

Is anyone else finding it painful to watch James Franco? He looks so awkward and uncomfortable. Anne Hathaway on the other hand is doing a respectable job - with the material she was given(IMO).

Cate Blanchard's dress looks like it may have started out as a french maid dress. The front is strange and then there's yellow on what looks like a peach dress.

When Franco smiles, his eyes look closed. But, he's still pretty hunky.

Yes, at first, I thought James was stoned. Then he perked up a bit when he wore the gown. But...it's as though he can't make eye contact with the camera or something. And Anne is a bit too giddy and giggly, bless her.

He's definitely easy on the eyes. :-) but his hosting is a little lacking. Just not doing it for me tonight I'm sorry to say.

Anne Hathaway may have been able to carry this by herself. She's pretty comfortable up there.
