THEY changed the name of Synchronized Swimming to Artistic Swimming.
I understand the reasoning but it just seems wrong, LOL.

Hubster and I are watching the Men's Gymnastics Rings competition on TV right now. As I listen to Tim Daggett calling out what he's seeing, at my right side, I also can hear my hubster mumbling just about the same thing Tim Daggett is announcing....LOL!! Oh, I should mention, hubster was once an International Men's Gymnastic's Judge back in his day. He keeps up on everything with Men's Gymnastics's judging, even attending course work. However, he will never judge again...this is just his first love and an important interest to him. I have him sitting to my right and I love hearing him as he's watching the Ring's performances.

I am enjoying the Mens 50K walk, the narrators have had some funny / interesting stories about the different walkers.
Still can't believe they are doing this in the heat that is there, they started at 5:30 am to try and avoid the heat but it is expected to be a 4 hour walk.

Australian Olympic Kayaker Jess Fox, 27, showed her MacGyver chops in Tokyo on July 2, using an Olympics-issued condom to repair her kayak before winning bronze and gold medals in different events. CTV News reported that Fox used the condom to hold in place a carbon mixture that is applied to the tip of the kayak. "Bet you never knew condoms could be used for kayak repairs," Fox posted on Instagram. "It gives the carbon a smooth finish." Smooth, indeed.

Watching the Closing Ceremonies .. it is so interesting when they bring in all the athletes they have several sections for them to gather.
Made me wonder if they try to keep any nations separated or just let them all wander around with each other.
Plus I guess with everyone masked and the probable testing that has been going on I guess they are worried about the Covid issue.
