I think there were two new episodes of Salvation last night. I scanned through both of them neither looked familiar. Then I realized this show isn't worth even that tiny bit of hassle. I wound up deleting both eps AND my season pass. It's really just a soap opera wrapped up in advanced technology and politics anyhow....not actual science fiction as they falsely claimed. I only started watching season 2 because I remembered that season 1 ended with people trapped in a bunker with no chance of escape and were expected to blast off to Mars when the world ended after the asteroid hit. Instead, they just opened the doors and walked out.

This is such an underrated series. Anyone who hasn’t watched it should consider giving it a chance. Yes there have been character arcs and character development but it’s not the kind of show that you couldn’t pick up right away.

The Captain was shot!! Doesn't look good and of course, now we will see if somehow Sherlock and Watson can come back to New York to see him. JOan doesn't really like it in London but Sherlock will be arrested if he returns.... at least that is where the story is now.

I never read any of the Sherlock Holmes books, so I'm guessing that was the original Sherlock's address?

221B comes from the original. I love that she lives in 221A. I feel like the Captain getting shot is a way to get Sherlock back in the US.

Oh dear, Sherlock has gone and turned himself in!!! I can't imagine where they are going to go with this since the series is ending. They can't just put him in jail and end the show, LOL.

I love when a show ends on a good note! Sherlock and Watson back together again. I swear when he found out she had cancer I thought they were going to say the Joan's kid was his son, I don't know why but it just popped into my head. Anyway, it was a good show, I will miss it.

Happy to hear it had a solid ending. I haven’t seen it yet but I’ll get there eventually.

It was a good ending. I was not happy for a minute there ... good trick. But I will miss this show. One of the best done on TV in a long time I think.

I, too, thought it was an excellent ending to one of my favourite current tv shows. And I loved the various references to the original Sherlock Holmes (i.e., "Mr. Altamont" as his alias in Florence, Italy; the inscription on the headstone - "Work is the best antidote to sorrow" [my dear Watson]; Joan's son being named Arthur).
