ON-demand means you click and it plays, as opposed to live where you don't have a choice when to start it.

I didn't use the offer myself. I have had Paramount for many years and i get Showtime with my cable....but my friend just used the offer to get the deal and there are several others that I am reading on X that have gotten it. So I figured I would post?

Oh yes, of course. I was just posting the price and content. It's says you save something like 47% off direct subscription price. Good deal for ad free.

Yes, it's quite a good deal! Was almost tempted to cancel my present subscriptions and get Walmart+ offer...especially because it's for ad free. Because, as I have said before, I despise ads lol. But I'm more an Amazon person than a Walmart.

It's wild how much I'm now spending on all the streaming content, podcasts, Patreon etc. It's worse than the old days when I was appalled at what I was spending after adding up all the magazines subscriptions I had amassed over the years. Now it's even worse!

A friend recommended A Gentleman in Moscow. I'm literally struggling to get through the second episode - it is just so freaking talky talky. TBH, my friend likes those talky movies. Is this worth sticking with?

I gave up on A Gentleman in Moscow and decided to watch Lawmen: Bass Reeves which has been in my watchlist forever and I got through seven episodes yesterday and will finish tonight. It's not a talky series... LOL

i wanted to watch Gentleman in Moscow, but it's not really P+, it's Showtime, so if you have basic P+ it's not included. :-(

I'm about 1/3rd of the way through a scary movie on Paramount+ called
"Apartment 7A", and it stars Julia Garner (Love her!) as a professional dancer that got injured. I kept thinking the neighbors in her new building seem familiar. The names as well as their looks and personality. Even the building felt familiar.

Since it was so much fun figuring out where I know them from, I am going to put it spoilers in case someone else wants to watch and figure it out themselves.

Spoiler

It's the characters from the original "Rosemary's Baby"! This is feeling like a prequel since one of the characters is the woman who passed away in RB in order for Rosemary and her husband to get the apartment. I knew it was her because in this movie she is a judge who is into growing herbs, and in RB the tenant that had passed away was also a judge and into growing herbs.

Off to finish the movie, now. I can't wait to see what else I notice!

eta: OMG

I just realized this is the story of the girl, Terry, in the beginning of Rosemary's baby that lived with the old Castevettes and that supposedly jumped to her death out their window!

Yes, it was a good movie! My nephew had told me about it, along with your first spoiler, so I knew from the outset what it was but I still enjoyed it.

I am loving season 2 Lioness. I am finding season 2 of Tulsa King rather slow and boring

My husband and I have binged Tulsa King. I don't know why we didn't watch it before. This last episode was insane!

I tried to watch it at some time in the pandemic period and found it unbelievably boring, have never gone back.

Has the entire season of S2 of Tulsa King dropped? I was waiting for the entire season so I wouldn't have to watch week to week.

My sister and I watched "Larger Than Life: Reign of the Boy Bands." It was very enjoyable. The original boy band, The Beatles, was on. As she is a Beatlemaniac she enjoyed it and she said "My Paul McCartney-- Donny Osmond was on, I enjoyed it, too. Never thought of Donny that way before.

Thanks Legal. I am so spoiled with binging entire seasons on streaming that I hate waiting for weekly episodes. I loved that Netflix dropped the entire third season of Lincoln Lawyer at once instead of us having to watch each week.

I had mentioned "Landman" in the premiere thread. 2 eps out so far and I am really liking it. Billy Bob Thornton plays an executive and “fixer” for the fictional oil company in the series, which is owned by his billionaire boss, Monty Miller (Jon Hamm).
