He just got off a world tour for his new album and is starting the US tour at the end of the month.

Then maybe Adam should have taken the season off.
Might have been better for his kids and the contestants as well.

I've wondered why Adam & Blake have never taken a season off. I like them both as coaches but maybe a season off would make them more connected once they come back. I haven't sensed it w/Blake, but this seems like it has just become Adam's job. He lacks some of the earlier seasons excitement.

I think he's excited when the season starts, but when the best prospects go to Blake or Alicia, I think it's disheartening to him after awhile. This year, it seemed like he was more resigned to the fact that Alica would get the best non-country singers. Even he has said that he would chose Alicia Keys if he was a contestant.
