Some very interesting tea around the interwebs today. On Twitter, Erika is getting hammered, AGAIN, for being Erika. There are two interesting rumors going around via blind items.
The first blind is that Erika has been fired because the fans absolutely hate her in spite of Andy trying to make "her happen." This would be unusual for someone to be fired while the reunion is still airing since they usually don't renew contracts until after reunion has finished airing (with the exception of Phaedra - I'm 99.999% sure Bravo fired her while the reunion was airing).
The second blind (and more believable) is that she quit because her and Tom have split up and she doesn't want to go through the divorce on TV (like Charisse who has since been booted from Potomac because she wouldn't open up about her divorce). It is also being reported in the blind items that the "office" we have seen Erika film at this season was actually her apartment (because she moved out of the Pasadena Palace). This also makes sense because I could never figure out why someone who doesn't work needs an "office" when she already lived in a 20,000 sq. foot mansion.
I would absolutely NOT be surprised to hear that they split. I always thought it was very very strange two years ago when she was on DWTS that he never once appeared in the audience for her since they only live about 20 minutes from the DWTS studio. There are also rumors that while Erika was on DWTS, Tom was spotted canoodling with another blonde at the infamous Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Also, last year he only appeared on the show once, and this year he only appeared on the show once.
It will be interesting to see if either of these blinds are true.

Hmmm.... Remember I posted above about Tom with his accident and Erika said she realized everything could be gone just like that, and I said it sounded like she was talking about material things?
Makes me wonder if the one he was canoodling with was in the car with him. Not that Erika would divorce him over that, but maybe Tom and the other woman decided life is to short and they want to be together as a real couple. This scenario is sadly reminding me of Camille and the Frasier guy. Get her a job on the Real Housewives as a going away present.

Oooohhh... Groch. Now that would be interesting. Tom has only been seen on the show once this year and once last year. I would not be surprised At. All. to find out they have been separated for some time.
Didn't anyone think it was odd when she said that neither Tom nor her mother have read her book?
There is a picture out there from the reunion last night where LVP and Dorit are talking and Erika is sitting there on the couch looking like a Fembot from Austin Powers. What a strange human being. I really do hope this is her last season.

Chieko, "$1000 hand bags?" Try $20-30,000 for a Burkin. Those things cost more than a lot of people's cars.
Erika is just not a nice person. I realized how much she talks down to Teddi when Lisa commented in the previews that she (Erika) would NEVER speak to Lisa the way she talks to Teddi. She acts as if Teddi is beneath her. Can't stand her and hope they dump her. $40,000 a month to look like a plastic Barbie Streetwalker? That's crazy.

PS. LVP had the best line of the night when they were talking about Alison DuBois and the ill-fated dinner party at Camille's from Season 1. Camille said that Alison doesn't speak to her anymore because she felt "set up," and Lisa quipped, "She's a psychic. She should have seen that coming!" Touche!!!

I just don't understand the fascination with Hermes products. They have one bag for $65,000 and another for $135,000!?! I remember when their scarves were all the rage and they were $10,000. I do feel sorry for Kyle getting robbed, but there's some feeling of them contributing to it when they do like the Kardashians do and flaunt their toys, baubles, and homes for all the world to see.

I'm sure they had insurance to cover all the things that were stolen. Where I do feel bad for Kyle is the things of her mother's that were taken, things that may not have monetary value but are priceless to her. Those can't be replaced.

Yes, you are right Babyjaxmom, the handbags cost a fortune. And I agree about the personal jewelry handed down from Kyle's mother. That is very sad. It would crush me to lose something like that. Maybe she will have great luck and some of it may be recovered.
I thought it was interesting that she was a little hesitant about remaining in that house, not a good start.

What I found amazing was that it never seems to occur to these people that displaying all their "goodies" might encourage a break-in. I know they were getting security but she might have kept all those bags off TV until it was totally installed.
Especially after knowing all the burglaries that have occurred in BH to so many celebrities.

I don't know that area of California at all, but I read somewhere that the new house is not in a gated area and isn't very secure They said it made no sense for Kyle to leave Beverly Hills to move to Encino (especially when they can afford one of the best houses in BH).

Apparently she loved the house, but if I were as rich as Kyle Richards, I'd most certainly live in a gated community where I would feel safer. It's too bad they didn't get their burglar alarm system in place before they went on vacation, too. That was just stupid.

did kyle ever live in bh? the old house is in an area off the 405 which is gated but definitely not bh. and the new home in encino is in a lovely area but not gated as noted.
we've had a real crime spree here re burglaries and break-ins and stolen cars.
mauricio and eduardo just sold a home for me which is gated...the big selling point is the gate. gotta have it around here.

Dovez, I thought she lived in BH (I've heard of BH and the "Post Office"), or Bel-Air. Obviously, I'm not familiar with the area but I've seen bloggers on other sites familiar with the area a little surprised that Kyle moved from that house to Encino (they said the traffic is terrible from Encino to BH).
I think people are a little mind-boggled because Kyle could buy the best house in BH and she moved to where ever she moved in Encino.

"...they said traffic is terrible..." is an understatement, lexie-girl.
i used to live in encino but moved to beverly hills because of the traffic. (well, that was one reason.)
it often took almost two hours for son to get home from school in brentwood and hubby from century city-both beverly hills adjacent.
now we're only five minutes from the beverly hills hotel. life became less hectic. the "valley" is not a bad place to live but getting to and fro is difficult.

Even if she loved the house and must live there, they can certainly afford even some security guards while on vacation. I wouldn't have a home in a non-gated area and have just an electronic security system if I were in the public eye.
I love watching Kyle and it must be awful living in fear, even more so now that this has happened. I hope this doesn't make her decide to leave the show as I enjoy her presence.

That's been online for several weeks. I've always kind of liked her. I hope she doesn't end up changing my opinion of her. It'll be nice having someone "new" that we're already somewhat familiar with.

Also, Denise Richards got married this weekend and she's being excoriated on Twitter over the "dress" she wore. It was basically a mini-lace romper with a train. To each his own... I guess.
