Previews are showing who is on the new tribes after the swap. Some people are going to get screwed in the swap and I am so bummed!

I don’t understand why they are swapping. Too much production crap and interference is ruining the game. They need to let it play out. It’s not fun to watch if it’s mostly about luck and people get screwed because of it. I want to see people win because they played well and not because they got lucky.

I think they are claiming that swapping was chosen by viewers.

My guess from Pamy's post is that Ozzie and Cirie are on different teams. And that Christian and the guy he is in cahoots with are separated, just because we are having fun watching them.

The timing of the tribe swap was voted on by viewers... it was not a production decision. So we may not like it, but apparently those who voted did.

I don’t mind The swapping it helps to prevent one team continuing to lose. This also can help reducing Pagonging after merge. It sucks when people I like don’t fair well in the swap. However, they may thrive. Time will tell.

Except it is a production decision to make a tribe swap one of the things voted on by viewers. Having the viewers vote at all is a production decision.

They did take a chance that we would have voted No though :-)

Exactly, Pamy.

The point is that it is what the majority of fans wanted to happen. Regardless of what some fans want or what production might have hoped for. The fans voted for this to happen early.

Why didn’t the fans vote someone off the first day the moment they landed on the beach?

Was that one of the options? I would have voted yes for that LOL but many people would have disliked my vote for Cirie haha

I didn't vote, so I can't complain.

The spoiler did say that production made two changes after swap, so they still interfered..

Actually, I don’t think that Survivor asked that question. But that’s pretty much what I was trying to say earlier. Survivor production controls the narrative. If they don’t want to do something, they won’t give the viewers the option to vote for it. If they truly didn’t want a tribe swap at this point, they wouldn’t have asked the question. The viewers can’t make Survivor do anything that Survivor isn’t open to doing in the first place.

I think they did at one point in one season eliminate someone immediately. I thought that was rather mean. In this situation, I’m not sure who I would’ve voted for. In retrospect, I would vote for Stephenie of course to be eliminated first, but before I had that knowledge, I honestly can’t imagine who I would want to deny this opportunity to, having travelled all that way and being that close.

The point is still that the majority of fans voted for an early tribe swap. That's it.

All production did was give the majority of fans what they wanted.

That is actually a valid point for banners and any table where you keep people in order, like the Big Brother Interesting House Happenings. That can get to be a challenge.

There are a LOT of people out there that are NOT buying that the fans voted for "no rice and no tools." One of the biggest complaints of the show in recent years is it is no fun to watch them starve on the beach with no rice and being unable to build shelter because of no tools. That smells like production interference.

I don't recall voting for much at all so I wonder how many people lost track of when to vote like me. I feel like a lot of "fans" didn't vote! But I'm honestly not surprised people voted for things that make life difficult on the island. Many are still annoyed that they spend less days out there. Many want to see them earn it -- they all know what the suffering is like and they went back for more. lol.

As for last night, I was hoping they'd get Steph out, but Q is okay as well. He's just too much of a wildcard. Maybe they'll get Steph out next time, because I can see them losing again as they don't have a lot of strength!

I thoroughly enjoy Mike White. And What Was Emily thinking?! Just irrational emotional play from her. Try to clarify before you go off and spill ALL the secrets!

And so interesting -- Charlie's take on Rizzo. Rizzo didn't vote for his #1 and then even asks about Maria! Charlie is so smart. I want him to win it all!

Ang *gag* over Coach and Joe and "integrity". Coach is such a spin master.

Brenda, I agree about fans voting to make things more difficult. I don't like it. I still don't like that they don't get starter supplies (machete, flint, etc) and rice! And then the producers don't show exactly how difficult this makes it! What's the point?

As for getting Steph out, I would have preferred her for one reason only: I think it makes their team too weak and I predict that they will end up at tribal again next week. :-(

Emily was a mess, that's for sure.

I'm surprised they didnt get the supplies as well. Jeff said the vote was super close though.

I hope they continue losing, Q was strength and should not have gone too soon. I have never cared for Mike and dislike his smug face

Mike and Ozzy are friends, so I hope this helps Ozzie stay around. He's weak at the strategizing, but I'm a long time fan and sure enjoy watching him dominate in the challenges and physical aspects. And Mike and Ozzy being friends makes me like Mike even more. :-)

Losing the strength of Q is probably going to be very bad for that team.

Rizgod’s annoying habits in season 49 with unknowns don’t seem to play well with veteran players.

And what was Emily thinking by spilling the beans on the idol? At this point, I wouldn’t tell her anything anymore.
