Are they playing old school style, or the newer way they play the game today? However, they do have a lot of players, which hopefully will make the tribe competition a little more interesting. With too few players, it's hard for tribes to turn around a losing streak.

I like Christian, a lot, always have. With his science and Ozzy’s fire making skills, they made fire with glasses. “Science is cool, kids!”
Ozzy seems like he’s playing a lot smarter this time. He’s grown a lot.

Random thoughts…
I get that this is a special season, but 24 people is a lot in the beginning. It’s really hard to keep track of who is on which tribe.
Right now, everyone seems to be saying that they are playing differently.
I don’t really remember some of these players, at all.
It seems like there are 2 people from some seasons, which would provide a huge advantage down the road.

Hahahaha, today was a long day for me, even before I knew it was a THREE HOUR premier of Survivor 50 tonight. I had a morning, afternoon, and evening event with our condo association. BUT, crafty senior citizen that I am, I figured out I could watch east coast link to the END of tonight's premier online when I got home and then switch to pacific time to finish it out, all of which I accomplished. Yay (falls down dead)!
Okay, the glasses making fire thing - I almost wondered if that was a contrived thing. I distinctly remember exactly ONE season when one team successfully made fire that way, and so, in all seasons thereafter, I always watched to see if the non-flint players had glasses, as I did tonight. But the producers never again showed us if that method was used. And then, they miraculously did it again tonight.
I dunno ...
But, of course, I will always watch.

If anyone would bring the best glasses for fire making it would Christian. (who I mostly know from RHAP podcasts).
I would love to know who got Cirie to be the one to.do that task. Almost guaranteed to be better done by someone with a strong throwing arm. I was happy that Cirie stayed and Jenna went home.

uuuggghhh... I could only stay awake through the first TC so I missed the last 45 min. of the show. I can't do a three-hour show. I get too sleepy. I am sorry to see Jenna leave so soon - I was hoping it would be Cirie.

I thought I saw Cirie volunteer. She has never been good at challenges and my thought was why is she doing that. I am glad Ozzy was safe, I always liked him. It is funny I forget many players from one season to another but then when I see them in action I remember them. I never liked Coach and would love to see him gone. Jenna was almost a guaranteed goner. Coming on so strong is a guarantee eviction.

Fun episode.
Cirie was a disaster, why they chose her for a physical task like that is mystifying to me.
I hate that Ozzie is sus at this point... I like him and hope he lasts but he does't seem to understand the social aspects at all. He said he's play differently, and then played too hard to save Cirie? Yet she did get saved.... and I'm not sure why. Not enough was shown why everyone turned on Jenna?

Pamy, Kyle was on one of the morning shows... he did have to have surgery, but he is doing well!

When Savannah came back from the island, thought it was interesting that they immediately didn’t believe her about not winning some sort of immunity or advantage. Whereas, when Colby came back, they all believed him. Goes to show that Colby brings in some survivor cache and trust. They know nothing about Savannah, other than she won her season, which is probably a big red flag on her.

Pamy, I guess I should say that I don’t remember some of them, even in their Survivor career, which is why I don’t remember what tribe they are on… because I don’t remember them.
Another observation….. Ozzy has aged nicely.

Jenna was just too quick and harsh going after Cirie (at least as shown with their editing). She came a cross as unpleasant to me so I am happy.
Not tired of Cirie.
The blue tribe with Coach is the only intact tribe..
Did feel terrible for Kyle.
There are a lot of them I don't want to see again.

We went to the Idol hunt in CA. If you didnt know every state had an idol hunt, they released clues and the date the idols would be released for each state. Most states had survivor players that lived in the state at the different locations. We had Abi Maria, Ozzy, and Austin at ours. I only got pics with Oz cuz he is my fav
We had to hike up a STEEP 1/4 mile trail up to Griffith Observatory and the idol was up there. We took pics with it and then got entered into a drawing to go to the finale. 1 person from each state will win. It was an amazing experience, we met sooo many fun people!!
