Nice! I remember you talking about the Idol Hunt, but had no idea what it was.

Great banner!
I'm worried about Ozzie. He does seem a bit clueless but he's so fun to watch. They need to keep him around long enough for us to get to see him swim some more.

I think Jenna is a wildcard, mouthy kind of player and that scared them. Cerie is charming. I understand the vote.

Coach is still coaching. Someone how has to talk so much about honor is likely trying to convince themselves. He can't admit Ozzie was trying to play with honor and Coach wasn't.

Steph -- I just can't after seeing the antisemetic video. I just want her gone and I'm not happy she has paired up with Colby.

It was a fun start! I'm glad Colby warmed up to Rizzo.

Thank you for the nice comments about the banner. They sure have a lot of contestants this season!

It was an interesting and entertaining first episode. Jeff didn't seem too over the top with his hosting which was good. I noticed that they didn't have a lot of on screen descriptions to identify the players. Maybe they are assuming we will recognize them all so they need no identification?

I'm also happy that Colby warmed up to Rizo. He was sounding like a stereotypical grumpy old guy there for a while.

I agree that Cirie attempting that particular part of the challenge was incredibly stupid. I'd love to know how that decision came about. As the only person from the original season, I was sad to see Jenna go so early but taking on Cirie seems to be a mistake.

I feel bad for Kyle. The only good thing about it from a viewer perspective is with two teams losing a player it means that the first team with a player out won't necessarily go on a losing streak.

Oh and wow did they ever hit us with commercials for the last hour of the show. It was brutal.

Jimmer, thank you for the awesome banner! The banner is so helpful to me with keeping up with the tribes.

I felt bad for Kyle and was glad to hear above that he had surgery to repair his injury.

I'm a big fan of Cirie. It was hard to watch her attempts at throwing the ball to catch it in order to pull down the banner. I'm glad she survived Jenna's attempt to have her torch snuffed at TC. I can't recall, but will she have to volunteer for future challenges? Or is it one and done?

Pamy, am I hearing right....you found the hidden Idol at Griffith Park? If so, congratulations!! Oh, and nice that you got a picture taken with Ozzy.

Pamy/Kar, thank you for the Chart results. It's great!

There were so many alliances made, plus it seemed like there was a lot of advantages or idols in the hands of certain castaways.

Basically good show tonight.

Eggie, yes, we hiked up Ferndale trail to it. Beautiful views along the way! Closest I have ever seen the Hollywood sign. Next I want to go closer to it

I recognized every player except Chrissy and Angelina.

Pamy, did you or your team win the L.A. idol contest?

Brenda.. Same on Steph and the antisemitic statements. I just want her gone.

Jimmer, the banner is beautiful and so helpful. And I definitely noticed a lack of screen description of the contestants. Yes we needed them.

I was recording, so I started watching on delay and fast forwarded through commercials.

The reruns really helped me to some extent..

I watched the reruns as well and was glad I did as there were several people I wouldn't have remembered much.

Pamy - so cool that you went to the idol finding and met Ozzy! It was so fun that they did these all over the country. I loved seeing the pics of the one in Colorado. So many people showing up!

My first thought is I only recognize 6 of them by just looking. Colby, Mike, Cirie, Coach, Ozzie and Jenna.

Second thought was Colby is so much more handsome in his 50s than during his younger appearances.

Jenna is crazy for targeting Cirie.

I'll be rooting for Mike!

Saw Kyle and Jenna on a morning show yesterday. Kyle talked about the need to stay out of sight as he healed from his operation so people couldn't see who had come home early. He got to spend alot of quality time at home and surprise, he and his wife are now expecting. He was so cheerful and still so grateful for the experience. Jenna was her usual self. I'll just leave it there. :0)

I loved the first episode. JP kept his talking and camera time to a minimum. I loved seeing how the various tribes interacted from day to day from not being sure of each other to some embracing each other. I went in wanting Cirie gone asap until Jenna showed up. Jenna didn't even say she wanted to work with people in order to all go forward together. She basically just said SHE was going to the end, period. So so happy she is gone. Cirie and Steph can be next and I will be even more happy! Cirie is going to kill 'Oscar's' game and I will not be polite about it.

I loved how Christian was explaining why one person's glasses wouldn't start a fire because of their curvature but someone else's would. I think they ended up using 2 or 3 pairs of glasses to start the fire. I wasn't a fan of his the first time but I sure am now.

I enjoyed watching Mike refer to himself as 'grandpa'. Heck, there were alot of joyful moments in this episode. I will not let one person's medicated/drunk/ignorant comments ruin it for me. The universe will deal with them later but I am glad that people are making us aware of her comments.

And heck, what was up with Aubrey and her reaction to Genevieve? Yikes!

Brenda, they really did a phenomenial job on the idol hunts! Every state was so unique! One state you had to go on snow mobiles, one you got on a river cruise, and Alaska had theirs buried in an ice block

I thought it was crap that Ozzy made it seem like Coach gave his word about not taking the key if someone else got it down. He never did and it would be stupid for anyone (imo, unless they made a secret deal or pact going forward) to agree to it. And I don’t even like coach.

But Coach is the one blathering about honor.

I really cannot separate Steph's toxic attack on Eliza and all Jewish people an mentioning Tr-mp. If it was drunken madness if would have been taken down quickly.

I just can't shrug my shoulders.

....

Naja, yes, Kenzie who owns her own salon, has tattoos, won Survivor, is now happily married with a little boy and they live with joy. Baby boy #2 is due soon.. So if they asked her back, it wouldn't have worked out.

I enjoy her on Instagram and her love of thrift shop clothing and just her whole artsy crafty attitude.

I would rather have a recent winner like Kenzie or Maryanne (who is in medical school) than Savannah, the most recent winner, but those two are living real life, well.

I will have to see if I am a Tiffany fan, but we have time to evaluate all of them in present day, for sure.

I suppose it would be too much to ask for the third tribe to be next to go to tribal council, just to even things out. (Dee or Coach could go)

The good thing about the large tribes is there won't be a fatal disparity in competitions immediately.

I had a co worker on our product a Computer Sciences Corp. who was quite enthusiastic about a volleyball game we had.. And he was a good player. He went down a low dig, which he got, but then he never stood up, just fell over and couldn't get up. It was his Achilles .. And apparently either much worse than Kyle's, or Kyle is a superman, because Howard had to be carried away and driven home, was out of work and then on crutches and doing physical therapy. Our Vice President, who had been quite enthused about playing in the volleyball tournament, changed his mind and said no one from the Infocare project was to participate.. They were not fans of time off ..

In the long run, this time in Kyle's life is likely to be remembered as a big win in terms of time with his wife and a baby to arrive. Of course a disappointment, but most of these people wil! be disappointed, with much less to show for it.

Jimmer, once again.. What a resource in that banner!

Exactly Sea. Coach is one of those people who claim ownership of ethics, taking the high road and then can rationalize ditching those "values"

Possibly but in this instance I don’t think what Coach did was unethical. Ozzie created his own made up rule that Coach never agreed to follow.
