Well here we are again already! ( in a couple of weeks ;) )
RULES
1. Beginning with the February 27th show (Week 2 of Survivor Edge of Extinction) anyone wanting to participate in this game will submit the name of a currently active Survivor they feel will survive that episode's Tribal Council. We will use the February 20th show (week 1) to assess the Survivors and determine our picks.
Sample weekly submission: Week 2: Caleb
2. Important: You may use each Survivor only ONE time for the duration of Survivor 38. Your strategy may be to pick a person you perceive as weaker (but not "weakest"!) each week. Or your strategy may be to play it safe and pick a stronger player, to make sure you progress into the next week. Survivors you haven’t used, but whose torch gets snuffed are also no longer eligible to use for the game.
3. Submission must be prior to the start of the upcoming episode's first showing (i.e. Eastern Time)
4. If your Survivor survives the episode, you also survive in The Tribe Has Spoken Game.
5. If your Survivor is booted from Tribal Council, then you are booted from The Tribe Has Spoken Game.
6. If your chosen Survivor leaves for any other reason during the same episode, you are also out. This includes medical evac, quitting, double boots via multiple Tribal Councils, or any other incident which puts them out of the game.
7. If you miss a deadline, or forget to pick, you are also out of the game.
8. The game will end either after the final episode (there can be ties, even for 1st) or when the last player’s torch has been snuffed.
We will begin our game during Week 2 of Survivor and I will chart our game as such. This is to keep our weeks the same as the weeks of the season. Hopefully to avoid confusion. Again, Week 1 is an assessment week for us to get to know the cast.
Late comers to the game will be accepted only during our second week of play (or, third week of Survivor, airing on March 6th). In order to enter the game late, you must submit your normal pick, as well as a "discard" pick to even out your picks with those who started playing when the game began. ** Both the discard and the normal pick must survive tribal council.

Let's have an added little game.
In Week Two when you are making your pick, make your pick for the Sole Survivor. It can not be changed thereafter.
So for example:
Week 2: Jon
Sole Survivor: Trish
(Note I made the names up)
And we will see who picked the sole survivor.
As well, anyone who comes in on the "late/third week" can't participate in this game.
Yea I can't wait!!!

cool! so even if we get out in the regular game and our sole survivor pick is still in the game we are still in this game for that added game. right?

Woo hoo can’t wait for tomorrow to see the new players.
I will endeavour to have the results up within a couple of daysof each ep. But up front I will say I have two young step sons and our house is for sale, sometimes I don’t get to view until the weekend. I do think it’s time for them to become the next generation of watchers. And who knows, now that Canadians can play, we might see them 12 years from now!

I think we need to address the elephant that is Extinction Island. We will still play that if you picked eg Reem this ep and she was booted you are booted as well, regardless of whether they went to Extinction island or not.
One thing, who ever comes back from the island later, if you hadn’t used that player they will become available again for you to use. If you had used them no double dipping.

so... do we know if someone is leaving this week? What if they the eliminated cast stays at EI and there is some challenge in several weeks with several of cast at once?
Do we know how EI is going to play??

Sorry if I sound stupid...
But if/when a booted player comes back does that mean we come back in? Or once booted from the game always booted from the game.
