68F on our patio this morning. The first real hint of fall like weather here. It will warm up into the 80s today and the forecast for the next week or two is for high 70s to low 80s. We’re reaching the time of the year where we have significant temperature swings of 20 to even 30 degrees from night to day and vice versa.

We're sweating through triple-digit temperatures now, but another weather threat could be on the horizon. Los Angeles city officials are already preparing for a potentially powerful El Niño that could bring heavy rain, flooding, mudslides and other severe weather impacts. abc7.la/12lXj…

If anyone is watching the news right now, nbc nightly news is going to explain the differences between the regular models of where the storm will go (more west) compared to the new AI models (more east).

OK, traditional models uses physics while the AI model uses Google maps.

I'm going to stick with the traditional maps for now.

So, it appears to me that the storm is heading more towards the west of Pensacola. So that means the traditional American and European models were more accurate than the AI ... Super Intelligent model that uses Google maps.

You've been warned.

Residents along the U.S. Gulf Coast boarded up windows and picked up last-minute supplies on Friday as Isaias strengthened into a major hurricane and carved a path toward the Alabama-Florida line.
The Category 3 hurricane — the first of an unusually quiet Atlantic season — is expected to make landfall Friday night and bring significant storm surge, damaging winds, flooding and possibly even tornadoes before scattering strong winds and rain well north into Atlanta.
