Clear video footage of the "nice" guy double touching, denying and uttering profanities. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/18BJX1k8Zw/

I never stated that Kennedy didn’t double touch the rock. There’s no question that he did. However, what we were talking about was Rachel Homan and Bobby Lammie who you claim are both cheaters. Did you or anyone else watch the video that I posted the link to? What do you think? The question about Kennedy is not whether he touched the rock. It’s whether he did it deliberately, and to gain some sort of advantage. Doing something deliberately and breaking the rules to gain an advantage would be considered cheating. Doing something accidentally and not gaining an advantage is just a mistake. If you watch him curl, it’s not unusual for him to follow through that way when he makes a shot. That time he happened to touch the rock. As I said earlier, his response was inappropriate.

Thanks for posting that video, Kar. It reinforces everything that I’ve been saying about this situation. It makes it pretty obvious that the supposed rule violations by Rachel Homan and Bobby Lammie were totally accidental and not cheating and did nothing to give them an advantage.

Congratulations to the US women’s hockey team for a big win. Canada did their best, but the US women’s hockey team is simply fantastic right now.

I know this is shallow but when I watch the ladies ice skating, I am obsessed with their outfits from the color selection to the beading to the type of pleating used. There are times when I wonder “how would project runway handle this”, lol. And yes, the skating is beautiful as well. Congrats to the US women’s hockey team! I don’t watch hockey but it sounds like it was a real nail biter. Congrats to Canada for the great game they played.

When do the women have their final skate? And when's the next curling game?

Kappy it's not shallow, I was amazed at some of the costumes and really liked a couple of the catsuits and some of those costumes, I think Alyssa's had amazing "jewels" around the necklines. I was also amazed at the different gloves some of them wore. Plus I thought they all wore tights but a couple looked bare legged, but maybe they have just made tights more natural looking these days.

Holy cow, the noise from skates on the ice extremely loud in women's long skate. It's so loud, I can barely hear the music. And the curling ice was patchy today. And that's my daily ice report.

And when's the next curling game? USA Women's semi final is at 6:05 am my time (Mountain), that would be 5 am TVCH Board time.

Yes that was disappointing for both the U.S. and Canada. Oh well, they both did their best. Bronze or even fourth in the Olympics is still an accomplishment for sure!

I agree, Kar. And I was hoping Canada had won their game, so both teams could win a medal. Drats.

Curling is a remarkably complex game. Makes it so much fun though. It would have been nice to see both the U.S. and Canada on the podium.

Grooch, they do a lot of manipulation of the ice, don't they? It seems like the curlers are constantly having to relearn how the ice will behave. For example, today was the first I'd heard that they work on the ice between the 5th and 6th ends of each game. Doesn't seem fair, altho I know it affects both teams.

The way curling ice is made is very interesting. It’s not at all the same as the ice for hockey and figure skating.

Well, Canada has made it through to the gold medal game in hockey. It sure wasn’t easy though. I’m looking forward to seeing the US play this afternoon. I expect they’ll easily defeat Slovakia, but you never know with this type of event.

Once again there is an ice issue. The Short Track racers going down with no contact except the same corner of the track. It amazes me that no one is talking about this, it was a topic at the beginning of the games and I don't think they got it fixed.

nbcbayarea Olympics 10m After winning a silver in 2018 and a bronze in 2022, Alex Ferreira has his gold! The 31-year-old from Aspen, Colorado, took the top step of the podium in the freestyle skiing men's halfpipe event at the Milan Cortina Olympics.
