RN It was fine. I was reminded of how much work has to be done 
eta: You wouldn't believe the diversity of my new neighbors. Just from the few I saw there was white, black, Asian, Mexican.... Certainly more interesting than my current neighborhood. Lots of kids!

RN It's closing day! I close on my new house at 9 AM, and the buyers close on my house at 4 PM. Tomorrow I move!
I'm praying for a smooth couple of days.

RN Just got home from my side of the closings! Lots of last minute work has to be done today. I'll try to be done by 5 pm and then have one last relaxing night in my old house.

RN My handyman is already at the new house ripping out the old carpet. He's going to send me pictures. He said I am going to be so happy with what I see!

Will he save some pieces of carpet? They could be used for dogs or for inside door mats or temporary mats during the move and any visits for people installing things (I have had handyman, upholstery guy, screen door people, plumbers three times, electricians twice, movers and appliance delivery people.

RN Today is moving day, Grooch! I am still packing! LOL In about 3 hours I meet the movers at Uhaul to get the truck.
I'll be coming back tomorrow as well to clean up.
