RN You guys, my back really aches. I have to work for 10 minutes, rest for 15. Thank goodness at least I won't have to carry this downstairs to the garage. The moose of a guy I hired before is coming back Wednesday for round 2. Today I'm working on packing the laundry room, rec room and under the stairs. I only have to do stuff to make sure the pictures look nice that are being taken on the 7th. And that means removing/packing all junk and clutter.

RN, Naja, when I had my house photo'ed, we were able to move stuff to the opposite side and shoot the photo. The realtor was really good at figuring out how to shoot the pics without me having to pack my whole house, since I needed to be able to live there.

So I moved out big stuff to friends. Do you have a garage? You could shoot a pic of it clear and clean and then load it up with things you can temporarily move to show how spacious the house is. Then Moose guy can put it back in place for you to live.

RN, Don't forget --- It's Fat Bear Week --- you can review the candidates and vote here .. https://explore.org/fat-bear-week

Alaska's Katmai National Park & Preserve is hosting its annual Fat Bear Week, which shows off their largest brown bears who are preparing for a long hibernation by eating as much as possible.

The roughly 2,200 brown bears inside the park are devouring salmon in preparation for winter where they will need the extra pounds to survive. They pack on the pounds quickly in the fall months with some males exceeding 1,200 pounds.

RN It's all going to one side of my Garage, Dipo. I'm only packing what I don't need. Plus I only have the dumpster another week, so I am going through everything before it leaves. I don't want to have to rent another dumpster when it comes time to move. Then I have to have the place spotless clean for the pictures on the 7th, which will be easier without all the clutter.

RN- Naja, out of curiosity, how much does that big dumpster cost and how long do they let you have it? I just want to compare to my area.

RN It's $350 for 2 weeks. I have the 20 yard rolloff. They have lots of other sizes and prices.

Our HOA doesn't allow dumpsters or packing crates. Of course we only have patios, no private driveways.

Last year post flood I had to move SO MUCH STUFF over the garage in the garage, within reason to community dumpsters and so much stuff to donate to SAVERS and Salvation Army.

I would work all day, take stuff to donate, visit my friend Lorna in rehab from hip replacement, then in a care home, then go home .. I had to be ready, then movers came to move big stuff to an unaffected bedroom, the garage, and over the garage. I dropped from 117 to 106 pounds while still eating plenty. (my last weigh in was 118, so it ceased being worriesome)

But I can emphasize over the seemingly endless task! But you have great goals ahead of you!

Naja, I'm jealous. A 5 yard dumpster goes for at least $350 where I am. And I don't think they even let you have it a week anymore.

And it's expected to go up because we only have a year or 2 before the landfills fill up and everything will have to be carted off the island. Garbage is expensive.

RN, on a happier note, my Gourmet Cinnamuffins and Apple Spice Cinnamuffins that I ordered from QVC just came and OMG, they smell fabulous!!!

I have to go put them in the fridge and then tomorrow package a few for the freezer. I have 8 and I don't think I can eat them all within 7 days, LOL.

RN So far everything I have put under my "Free Stuff" sign has been taken. Every day I put out a little more. Every day it's gone.

RN I just road in a Tesla for the first time. It was interesting. The whole roof was clear and the electronics in the front were incredible. It was my Uber home from the hospital where I was getting blood drawn for my annual check up.

RN, Naja, is there compensation from the city, county, or state to make you whole for that problem?

Here's what it says online for my city.

"In Independence, Missouri, the city generally does not pay for water or sewer main breaks that occur on private property. The financial responsibility depends on where the break is located."

RN Yes, I have water. I just can't flush toilet paper or do laundry. And my shower has to be quick before they get here this morning. I won't be able to use water once they start breaking up the ground. I can use the hose since it doesn't go down a drain.
