Ii know Grooch, the guy making the menus is a Chef so I can't figure out what he is thinking. Although we were chatting the other day and he said he added some things to the veg, like spinach, and my friend said, Oh cleaning out the fridge, huh. LOL. I think he may be trying to use up stuff from before. He has indicated a few times that he has boxes of stuff, like puddings and things.
Oh and we have been hearing rumors that the remodel may not be done until the end of the month instead of the 15th.

Is there such a thing as pesto mozarella? I am not sure about some of their sandwich parts, LOL.

It said it was on a roll, tho, so made me think sandwich.
Pesto is a name of sauce or spread.

Oh, I know that about pesto, I just wondered if maybe someone had combined the pesto and cheese into one, LOL.
I got the sandwich, it looked pitiful, they did say roll but it was between 2 slices of white bread, LOL. I did enjoy the coleslaw.
I am going to take the chicken out and see if there is something else I can do with it, toss the bread.

The Stroganoff was good and we had a blueberry parfait for dessert.
Have I mentioned during this time since they can't do soup, no clue why - but it summer, we get a salad and dessert is free.
Next week's menu is back to normal dinner foods!

Hahahaha, they ran out of chicken tenders. I told him that was ok because I was not a fan of tenders and was more interested in the mashed and cauliflower.
So, no charge and I got 3 scoops of mashed, a couple of spoons of veg, the salad which looks a bit strange and a brownie for dessert, plus a bottle of water.
YEAH!

I know I typed Arboreal Rice but it never occurred to me there wouldn't be noodles for the shrimp alfredo. They were supposed to serve the shrimp alfredo over the rice. I skipped the rice and just had essentially a shrimp alfredo sandwich using the garlic bread, LOL.

So when I went down they were out of potato salad!! I got the sandwich which was a bit odd, really more like a Croque Monsieur only not hot. It seemed to hve 2 types of ham, a couple of slices of lunchmeat and then a couple of slices from a ham, so weird. It was in a croissant, so when I picked it up it was sort of greasy in my hand.
