Dipo, your chef can't order it because pretty much NO commercially sourced (from foreign countries) lettuce and many more foods are no longer safe these days. And it is likely NOT the fault of your chef. If he is soon fired, it won't be because he forgot to order lettuce.
Oh, and don't eat the lettuce if he does get fired.
In fact, Dipo, you are likely the biggest brain of where you live. Sneak in and have a very heartfelt AND confidential conversation with the chef.

LOL, Juju, I am planning a chat once the permanent guy gets here. I have a list. And we did have salads last night.
BUT I went expecting Tortellini w/Alfredo, what we got was Ravioli with Marinara.
Just waiting for the new guy!!!

I had Chinese food yesterday for lunch, have some leftovers and I picked up some soup and sandwich. All this to say, I am skipping today's dinner.
Our new chef did arrive yesterday and is in training with Brendan. I have prepared a list of things, LOL, but will hold off till he has been here a week or so.
