It's Errand Day AND time to clean up the big appliances! Wipe down the doors, the handles and the surfaces and get the fingerprints and dried food that gets stuck on the stove.
I was going to deal with the bed today but then I might be going for Chinese food tomorrow, so I think I will do the laundry first and then see if I feel up to dealing with the bed.
First I need to clean up the kitchen, brew some coffee and clear my email. Plus I haven't finished the paper yet.

Laundry is going, turned out to be two loads - not quite full. But when I was cleaning my kitchen I noticed I was almost out of dish rags and I have a ton since I change them out almost daily. LOL, I just realized I probably have as many dishrags as underwear so that I don't have to do laundry very often, LOL.
Also they got the price back to normal, so thats good. When I got back my hard-boiled eggs were done which made me notice I need to clean my salt and pepper shakers, so that is done.
Also wiped done the stove and did some baking soda and vinegar down my bathroom sink and tub. Noticed my bathtub faucet is dripping! Need to check and see if it stopped and if not call it in to maintenance.

It's Clean your Purse and Car Day AND time to clean up the pantry .. do least one shelf of your pantry. Donate these items to a homeless shelter, a soup kitchen or church pantry. Toss the open boxes of crackers, open bags of chips and out of date items into the trash.
I got the kitty plates scrapped and soaking, then ran 2 bags of trash and one recycling out to the bins.
Time for yogurt, the paper and Perry.

Saturday .. Its Fun Day ...
And for some of us a few chores, LOL. My sister is coming so we are taking the cans to recycle and going to ACE hardware for a "faucet thingie" and a few other small items. I will also pick up some kitty grass, then we will grab a bite to eat somewhere.
I cleaned up the kitchen, hauled all the cans in from the balcony, grabbed the 4 new bags at the front door and got them bagged, so I am ready to go.
Time for the paper and some yogurt.

Sister got sick so we re-scheduled can disposal to Wednesday when she comes to do walker adjustments or next Saturday. I don't know if she will want to deal with it on Wednesday so we shall see.
I spent most of the afternoon catching up on Tracker, Watson and other stuff while playing computer games.
Then I moved the small bookcase from behind the chair in my bedroom, I put a couple of boxes behind it for the kitties. I have been wanting to get the chair moved back further into the corner. I am thinking of putting the bookcase up on the shelf in the closet but I have to measure and stuff so that if for another day. I have it positioned where it won't be a problem and the kitties might find it handy, LOL.
Then I cleaned up the kitchen and got the dishwasher running. Normally I wouldn't run it during prime time but I am almost out of kitty plates.
Now I need to organize the cans in the living room a little better, I can put them between the sofa and desk so it looks less messy And I need to take a look at email.

Sunday .. Happy Mothers Day ...
Not much planned to day, but I want to finish setting up the bookcase in the corner for the fans/heater. I am so glad I thought of having it there, right now the fan sits on a small step stool, I can use that in the closet.
Off to grab my coffee and yogurt and read the paper.

Yummy brunch, they handed out roses. Food was good but I thought the choices were odd. Chicken and Waffles or Salmon w/baked potato and asparagus (this seems more to go with a steak than salmon to me, LOL).
Also had mimosas. I brought home the chicken and a salmon dinner. I plan to freeze the salmon and eat the veggies, LOL.
Now it's time for BINGO!!!

It's Home Blessing Day and back to the bathroom! Here is a really simple mission for you. Clear off the counter tops and flat surfaces, put away the medicines, the toothbrushes, the cosmetics, etc.
I can't believe it rained today, I need to go work on the balcony since I may have wet stuff out there now.
I got the kitchen cleaned up, dishwasher unloaded and reloaded, need to take out all the trash and that will be done.
First I am working on email, then the newsletter, I have Bingo at 2pm and then I can work on the balcony.
I did get the bookcase set up in the corner and it works great, now I just need to put all the things on the shelves that I want there. Oh and changing the bed is still on the list for the week, plus breaking down the boxes and getting them out of the house.
Off to get busy on email.

I swear, everytime I put away my space heater it gets cold and I have to get it back out! I wish the weather would make up it's mind.
Got email cleared and then ordered some paper and ink from Staples, found I was down to one pen! Then I went and swept the balcony so that I could put the "laundry rollie basket" that I haven't used for that purpose out as a container to bag up cans.
Since it is cold, I closed down the bedroom window and latched the balcony door open at 10 inches and pulled out the heater for by the desk.
I got the Newsletter finalized and sent out for printing. So my chores are done and now I can play Bingo in peace, LOL.

It's Planning Day AND time to shine our tubs or showers.
Got the kitchen cleaned up and took out 3 bags of trash and a box. Someone spilled on the floor of the trash room so my shoes were sticking to the floor, LOL. Reported that to the front desk.
Got my Dental appointment rescheduled to next month since I had to pay my Renters Insurance. Trying to be more aware of my budget and not overspend any given month.
My new fan arrived so I need to get it unpacked and set up, plus take the "new" battery out of the remote from the old one.
When I woke up my left wrist was really itchy, for some reason I can't wear my watch on that wrist anymore. So I wiped it down with alcohol and then wiped down the watch band and back. I think maybe I should change the watch band and I know that it came with another one so I grabbed those boxes about of my closet.
The other goal for today is to fix my Yahoo finance stock watch and break down and get rid of the boxes sitting in my LR. Also I want to work a Lazyfit set in and then I have Bingo at 7pm,
Busy day, off to finish up emial.

Fan is put together and installed in it's place, I think we might get hot weather later this week.
Then I switched out my watch band so we will see if my left wrist still has an issue with it.
My Tablet with LazyFit it charging so I guess it's tmie to play other games and do my workout at 3pm.

Lazyfit done, it was fun, now to keep it up. Then I watched Elsbeth ... and broke down my boxes during the commercials.
Ran them out to the recycle bin, the floor is clean so that was nice.
Now, my Staples delivery came so I have to haul all the paper over to the bookcases but the cans are there so that will wait until tomorrow.
My final task is dinner ... I am going to make something from my Freezer and clean out some of the old food that is in there.

Freezer is cleaned out ... I had a few "Dinners" that were best in early 2024. I did nuke one and try it and it definitely wasn't tasty. I also took all the ice pack thingies out and stored them elsewhere. They took so much room and I never use them.
Now watch we will have a power failure and I will need one or two. Maybe I will put one back in the freezer just in case.

It's Anti-Procrastination Day AND time to check the supplies in your bathroom. Do you need toilet paper, toothpaste, shampoo, mouthwash, soap etc. Add these to your shopping list this week for tomorrow.
Got the kitchen cleaned up and trash out to the bins. Then read the paper and had some yogurt.
Brewed the coffee, and got ready for my sister to come and do a presentation on Medical Supplies and fix everyone's walker heights and test the brakes. I am hoping to get rid of my extra walker.
Also she is taking away the cans!!! And bringing some kitty grass.
What a fabulous day!

It's Errand Day AND For the bathroom today, take 10 minutes to toss old cosmetics and perfumes and for the extra room tackle the worst room in your home for 15 minutes to declutter.
I was so busy yesterday I am very happy today is quiet day! My sister came and we spent a couple of hours with residents checking their walker brakes, heights and doing repairs. It went really well and everyone was very happy.
Then we took the cans to the recycler, got $62! Then back home and I had Bingo - didn't win any games, LOL.
This morning I did clean up the kitchen, brewed my coffee and got the dishwasher running.
Been working on Email and paying some bills. Oh and yesterday I tried to get my Yahoo Stock tracker sorted out to show the actual stocks I have now, LOL.
Today I did some work on the June Newsletter, saw a couple of topics I was interested in so I went ahead and wrote them up.
Now I am working on email and anything else that comes with that.

Its Clean the Purse and Car Day And time to grab those old toothbrushes that you have just for cleaning and scrub those sink faucets and tub faucets.
I cleaned up the kitchen, made the coffee, refilled the water bottles and unloaded the dishwasher. Got the kitty plates soaking and the trash ready to go when I head down for Bingo.
Off to get email cleared and work on anything that brings up.

Kitchen cleaned up, coffee brewed, 2 bags of trash ready to go AND I got my new sheets and cami's.
I really like the sheets so I guess it's time to change out the bed. Need to check on the comforter and shams.
Also need some hooks for my closet, the command hooks are starting to fall, LOL, so I want some more permanent ones.
Off to the trash and brunch.

It's Home Blessing Day AND we are in Zone 4, master bedroom, bath and closet. So it's time to clear off the top of your dresser.
This is perfect for me! My list is to do all the things in my bedroom - spring/summer comforter, new sheets, dusting all the stuff, getting rid of the cobwebs and putting some hooks into the closet.
For now I have cleaned up the kitchen, stripped the bed and used the Febreze, and pulled out the comforter and did the same. Also made the coffee.
Working on email.

LOL, Sylvester helped out with the bedroom redo. Not sure how it happened, I was trying on new tanks but all of a sudden everything on the nightstand went tumbling including the lamp. I think he was exploring a new area I set up in the corner but I am not sure how he tipped everything.
The lamp, night pills, a jar with lounges, a couple of soda bottles all ended on the floor or on the box in the corner.
It did lead to me dusting the nightstand, finding a bottle of soda that had fallen behind it, then dusting the lamp and shade - Wow a lot of cat hair had gathered on the lampshade.
So it's half done, and everything is airing. I will put it back together when I come back from Bingo
