It's Home Blessing Day AND Take 15 minutes to declutter under the bed.
I cleaned up the kitchen, loaded up the dishwasher and cleared up the bags I had thrown into the office, LOL. I refilled the water and soda bottles.
For now working on email.

Mail done, and I took out the newspapers to the recycle bin. Did my Lazyfit workout, trying to do it everyday this week. Then I cleared my office piles and started work on the Newsletter.
When I started the document I got an AI prompt asking what I wanted, so I said A Senior Community Newsletter so I am trying it out and filing in the items, then I will send it around for comment and thoughts.

It's Planning Day AND time to clear off the top of the bed of anything that doesn't belong.
I have many chores for the day, so far I have watered the balcony plants and started the coffee. Then I made my list for the day.
Now I am off to dustbust the bathroom floor and hit the showers, coffee is brewing.

The bathroom got a bit more cleaning than planned. I dustbusted, then showered and for some reason a lot of water escaped the curtain so I mopped up around the tub, then used the wet towel to mop the rest of the room, LOL. Just need to clean the toilet bowl and I can call it a cleaned room until Housekeeping on the the 5th, maybe, they might skip because of the holiday to the 12th.
I also changed out my toothbrush head, supposed to do that last week after my dental cleaning but I forgot, so now I am back on track! Also cleaned my brushes while I was in the shower, so everything is drying now.
When I grabbed the newspaper the minutes had arrived so I got those sorted. Need to email the manager for the vacant units.
Working on email and then I need to do my hair, letting it dry a bit before I roll it up.

Finally up and about. I cleaned up the kitchen while the coffee brewed. Have to bags of trash to take out and one chewy box, LOL. I got the dishwasher unloaded and sorted out my closet. Pulled out Laundry Bag to send out, now I just need to figure out if I want to add anything to the blanket and sheets.
Also did my Lazyfit app and got the minutes ready to go and out in the mailbox.
Finishing working on email.

It's Errand Day AND Still working on the stuff around the bed.
I have a few things to manage day, I think I am going to transfer the cords to a new power strip in the office. I did it in the bedroom and it made my life much nicer, now when I move in the bed the lights don't go out from the plug being jostled. It should be replace but last time I reported it they just changed to the bottom plug, LOL.
Anyway my new power strip is square and sits on the floor so the cord from the kitty hotpad doesn't pull away from the plug and disconnect the surge protector.
For now time for yogurt, newspaper and games.

Cleaned up the kitchen and the bedroom, a few things had gotten out of place, then I got my Safeway order done.
Been working on email and next I am taking out some trash and newspapers. back to email.

Cleared off my Foyer table and then got all the new Fancy Feast put away in the pantry. I can't believe I have so much food and yet I am missing one kind that Sylvester really likes. I will put it on my list to purchase next time and get none of the others, LOL.
So now I have moved the step stool to the bedroom to do some high up chores in there, maybe cobwebs!!
But first I am going to do my Lazyfit app.

It's Clean your Car and Purse Day AND it's time to check the end of your bed. If you have a bench or chair with stuff piled up or just things piled on the floor at the end of your bed - time to clear it off.
I have Resident Council and Bingo today. In the meantime I have cleaned up the kitchen. My laundry got picked up - I sent out the king size blanket and some sheets. I also "rewired" the office area. I got the new surge protector and I was able to run the cord behind the bookcase so that I could get it closer to the desk.
So I unplugged everything and set it up better, now my speakers are on both sides of my laptop instead of together on the corner of the desk. It also frees up some floor space since my old one was a big rectangle.
Now I am working on email, then off to the meeting.

So I got yelled at in the meeting because I can't change a contract between Carlton and Sodexo. Frankie insists that the terms of the contract are wrong and should be changed, I explained several times while I agree with her issue, some people run out of money for food, I can't do anything about it. I told her she would have to take it up with Management. She thinks as President I should deal with it, I explained that I did do that BEFORE they signed the contract and now it is done. She insists I should continue fighting about it, not going to do it. I told her she would have to take it up with the new manager and to set up an appointment and let me know, she insists I come to the meeting as "President". I will go but will not have anything to say, LOL.
Apparently I am also not a good leader since I am not representing the community, LMAO. I invited her to run for President (my term is over in September). Now, Frankie is someone that no one sees because she doesn't participate in anything and until the Food Service change never came out of her apartment.
The food issue is the one I fought about for 3 months, LAST YEAR, before the contract was signed. The residents received a continental breakfast and a dinner every day. The dinner included soup/salad a choice between 2 entrees with 2 sides and dessert.
Now you get one entree choice with 2 sides, soup - $13 and dessert costs $3. Plus you have to pay for the continental breakfast which is $5. The allowance provided by the contract, which is part of the rent, is $400 per month. Frankie thinks that she should be able to spend her extra money on the people who don't get how it works and are now having breakfast, lunch and dinner and then run out of money.
I agree that would be nice but that is not how the allowance for her apartment works. I did explain to management that they were short about $150 on the allowance, I did a really good analysis, but they didn't seem to care. Plus we don't get a salad and a dessert at dinner now either.
Anyway that was the disruptive meeting I had today, and I did ask her why she was being so antagonistic. No real answer to that one. She refused to hear that I can't change a contract. Someone later said to tell her to watch Judge Judy who will explain that a contract is signed by 2 parties, and I am not one of them, LOL.
AND THEN, after I got yelled at, I didn't even win at Bingo!!!
So now I had some lunch, am checking email and going to go play some computer games!

Nothing big on my list for today, I already cleaned up the kitchen and got the dishwasher going while my coffee brewed.
Now I am headed back to bed to read the paper, have some coffee and yogurt, and play some computer games.
I do need to water the plants today!

Plants are watered! Temps are high but it doesn't feel that warm out on my covered balcony. also grabbed the cans and stuck them out there too.

It's Home Blessing Day and we are in Zone 5 - living room, family room, den for a day (I think). Time to clear any clutter you have in one of these rooms.
I got a surprise this morning, the new calendars came out with the housekeeping schedule and my apartment was listed for today and Wednesday, LOL. I didn't expect her to come this weekend but I figured it would get pushed to the 12th. Anyway I had a few other things in mind to work on today but I am adapting, LOL.
So over the weekend I got all the cobwebs down from the bedroom ceiling, now I have some detailed dusting to do but I have moved on to other stuff. I got the Bathroom counter cleared, so that's ready to go.
Worked on cleaning the kitchen, since I am changing the Brita filter I scrubbed down the Brita dispenser, its' drying on the stove. Got the dishwasher loaded and have things to take out to the recycle bin.
I need to sweep the office kitty litter area and get the living room ready to go. I have picked up most of the kitty toys and will finish off the bedroom once she gets here.
For now I am finally having some coffee and working on email.

Trash, cans and litter out to the respective bins. Swept the office rug, so that litter has been tamed and now it's ready for vacuuming. Also watered the plants with the leftover brita water, LOL.
Got the Brita Dispenser back together, put away my office sweater since I don't think there will be any chills in the near future.
Pulled in the Laundry bag return but I need to haul it to the closet til after housekeeping.
Time to work on email and put together my monthly schedule. Oh and I need to transfer some money from AMX for the rent.

WOW, it's amazing how fast the floors dry when it's summer, LOL. Got the stairs to the bed, the litter box back into the bathroom and a few other things back together. But first I was hungry and wanted some lunch!
Now I am ready to work on my calendar, get some money moved and finish up email.

It's Planning Day AND now we are moving to the Entrance, Front Porch and Dining Room. Time to sweep your front porch area around your front door. Shake out your welcome mats and wipe down your front door.
Since I had surprise Housekeeping yesterday I am working on my list for yesterday. I did manage to move some money, but I need to pull the laundry bag out of the closet, drill the hook in the closet and a few other things.
Off to work on email, read the paper and play some computer games.

Got the hook screwed into the wall, sort of, I guess I am not strong enough to push it with the drill but I got it in far enough for my purposes. Or the drill might not be strong enough, it is a small one I borrowed from on of the residents here.
Got the laundry bag unpacked and then hung it on the hook which was the whole point. Caught up on my games so now it's time to deal with more email and I will go water some plants and bring the rollie back in from the balcony.

It's Errand Day AND in the dining room, Look up and look down, get the dust off the baseboards and the cobwebs out of the corners in the ceiling. While you are looking up, check out your light fixture, does it need to be dusted?
I got the dishwasher unloaded and the kitchen cleaned up. I showered and my hair in curlers, Smartwatch is charging while I watch Wimbledon.
Off to clear more email and play some computer games.

Good meeting, it should be interesting because she is much more Apartment Manager focused than Assisted Living and that has been the problem. Carlton is 13 communities that are AL or Memory Care and us. Corporate was always directing our Activities Manager to have us do stuff that was really for Memory People, it was ridiculous.
Then I went and played Bingo, one one game $4.40! So now I am back clearing email and listening to my DayDrinking Podcast.
Next dinner at 5ish, then FINALLY, I can have a quiet day and relax a bit with some computer games and the paper.
