Laundry is done, hair is done, and I am off for some fabulous Mexican food. I don't like much on the menu here this week.

Wednesday's Mission
https://www.flylady.net/d/zones/kellys-missions/

It's Anti-Procrastination Day AND another declutter run for the Living Room.

I brewed the coffee, cleaned the kitchen and loaded up the dishwasher. While refilling water bottles I noticed the Brita Container should be cleaned before I replace the filter. So that is on the list for today.

I sent out my vacate notice, so I need to get on with the packing. I found another bin in the closet of Goodwill so I need to go thru and make sure that is what it is, and then put it in the box.

Also time to change the sheets on the bed so that might get done, just clearing email and socials then we shall see.

Pulled the towels and chair cushion off the balcony, the rain has been "misty" but will probably start up more this evening.

Working on my sock pile -- it occurred to me that I have too many so I am sorting some for the Goodwill bin. Also pulled the Kitty Shadow Boxes down to be cleaned and then packed. And I packed a box from my living room - didn't realize I had so many candles, they were in a drawer. In the new place they will stay in the box and be labeled so I can find them if I ever need them, hmmmm, wonder if I should put them in the Goodwill box.

Lol! about the socks, Dipo. There are to many in my house. I have been battling to get the numbers down. And what do I get for Christmas? About 20 new pairs from my bf. He has a thing about socks.

He also has a thing about candles, too. Sigh.

HAPPY NEW YEAR
Thursday's Mission
https://www.flylady.net/d/zones/kellys-missions/

It's Errand Day - a little tricky since much is closed today, LOL AND time to tackle the neglected areas of our Dining Room and Entrance. Dust the tops of door jams, tops of pictures, molding, windows, corners of the ceiling and the tops of your curtains.

I have been busy, I sorted thru my socks and got rid of a lot of peds, some knee highs and the "orphan" socks I had kept in case one came back from the laundry.

Played my computer games, got thru most of the paper and had some yogurt while we watched Perry.
Now I have cleaned up the kitchen, brewed the coffee, put away some stuff and put my Air Fryer into a box. Of course it is too high but I think I can lay it on it's side because I don't have any taller ones.

I swear I didn't know I had so many things that don't fit in standard boxes. I also emptied another basket of Goodwill stuff into the box and moved a box of books over to the Goodwill area.

So I am moving on with packing. Did I mention I sent the vacate notice yesterday and I did manage my finances so the money is all moving around.

Now I need to clear email and socials and I have an article for the Newsletter. Oh and I got the Sylvester and My Pill tracking spreadsheets up to date for the new year.

Grooch, I can't believe how many I actually got rid of, and it makes me wonder how in the world did I manage to accumulate so many, LOL.

WOw, I just got an email from my new apartment apologizing for a hot water shutdown, that has been fixed!

So nice to receive communication, unlike here.

Oh and it wasn't even my building.

Friday's Mission
https://www.flylady.net/d/zones/kellys-mission

It's Clean your Purse and Car Day AND time to Wipe down the tops, the edges, and the legs on your Dining Room Table and chairs.

I opened up the balcony and put out the cushion and towels so the kitties can enjoy the sun until the rain!

Also cleaned up the kitchen and got the dishwasher going. I put the Brita Dispenser back together now I just need to get a filter in it and fill it up. And I did find a box deep enough for the Air Fryer, LOL.

For now, back to bed with the paper and some yogurt. Time for Perry!!

Coffee brewed, newspapers and 4 bags of litter taken to the trash, oh and a regular bag of trash. I had heard it was bad luck to take the trash out on New Years Day so I loaded up the rollie with it all and rolled it to bins. It is amazing how heavy kitty litter is, LOL.

Now getting ready to go out for Christmas dinner with my sister. I want to stop at the bank and get some cash, I noticed my "earthquake money" has gotten low and I need some new kitty grass. So a couple of errands and some great prime rib.

Off to finish getting ready and clear email.

Fabulous dinner at Back Forty... Then went to the bank and got some money and to the pet store and got some kitty grass.

My sister took her present, the goodwill box and 2 boxes of books off to donation. Now I am clearing email and then I want to go and take a nap, LOL.

Busy day!

Sunday .... a day for quiet ...

Yesterday was fun, I ended up going out to lunch with my friend and she brought me two boxes of bins - one large and one small/medium. It was pretty funny me pushing the rollie thru the dining room stacked with 2 boxes of bins, LOL.

Then I was pooped out so we just watched TV, played games and laid around.

Today I am energized to get some stuff done. So far I have unloaded the dishwasher, cleaned up the office litter box area - it amazes me how much litter they seem to spill when I have tallsided boxes.

I am finishing up email and socials, then I will be working on packing certain boxes so I can stash then because I have Housekeeping on Wednesday.

Off to email.

Got the Brita Filter rinsed and put the Dispenser back together and filled it up. Then I packed a bunch of kitchen stuff around my Air Fryer so I could close up the box.

Grabbed the kitty frames I wanted to pack with the quilts and that's up next.

We had a bit of a taste of life after Mrs Mack retires at the end of February this past two weeks. She’s been on vacation or working from home so we’ve done “weird things” like sleep in, binge watch TV series, and start the reorganization/clean out of the house process. Admittedly we probably have been lazy and after 22 years in the same house things have kind of taken on their own life. You bring some new small appliance or whatever home and you save the box in case it breaks or you move. We haven’t moved and our storage areas have gotten out of hand. We did our laundry room during Mrs Mack’s vacation and while it didn’t take long there was a lot of stuff that had gotten “stored” in the two big cabinets. Filled pretty much a garbage can. The other areas like our attics will take weeks. 😱😳🙁

LOL Mack, you will find amazing things as you clear out areas. I have been surprised and I have only been here for 3 1/2 years.

Monday's Mission
https://www.flylady.net/d/zones/kellys-mission

It's Home Blessing Day AND Into the Kitchen we go! Time to grab some soap and scrub those kitchen sink faucets!

Got the coffee brewed, the kitchen cleaned up and finished packing up a bin from my linen shelves, then I dusted it.

Yesterday I got the sheets changed and pulled some stuff to pack in the quilt box so will be working on that today. Also got my new glass bowls ready to go, I kept the little styrofoam thingies that they put around them when they shipped so, they keep them safe!

Did a Safeway order and now I am working on email and socials, then off to packing. Oh and I need to read the paper, I did computer games this morning instead.

Box number 2 is completed and taped closed. It takes longer to pack when you have to dust and clean everything before it goes into the box.

Safeway order came and put away. Email one, paper done, and I figured out how to make the tape dispenser work, LOL. Also have some pliers and plastic bags in my pocket because the one table I cleared in the bedroom has those things you stick in to make the shelves sit. And some of them are in pretty tight so I need the pliers.

Pooped out, so going to rest for a bit.

And I bet you'll dust it again when you take it out of the box. Am I right?

Tuesday's Mission
https://beta.flylady.net/daily-mission

It's Planning Day AND time to wipe down the kitchen cabinets.

I go the balcony opened up, it's nice out, so that clears out some of the mess in the house. I need to set up some stacking areas so I don't feel like my house is a disaster.

I cleaned up the kitchen, the litter boxes and put away some of the new kitty food. So much to do.

Grabbed some yogurt, the newspaper and back to bed for a bit.

I need to cancel my Housekeeping tomorrow and find a mover today.

Brewwed the coffee while I loaded up the dishwasher, then refilled water bottles and got the stuff down from the top shelf of two cabinets.

Then I FOUND MY COVID DINNER BAG!!! I just happened to look in the shelf above the Refrigerator where I didn't think I had put anything and there it was.

The bag filled will napkins, plastic utensils, plates, etc that we used when we picked up food and went to the Office Park to sit on the picnic tables, watch the geese and have some dinner. It was great, even our Applebee's had Margaritas to go, LOL.

Also found an unopened packages of paper plates and solo cups. I will see if my friend's family can use those. So I wiped down the top of the fridge, it was pretty dusty.

I took out the trash and refilled some water bottles and put away the cat food.

Now for some coffee and muffins...
