RN I think my brain finally started working and I figured out why my figures were so low in calculating my benefits. I was forgetting to add back in what DDH had taken out for Medicare part B and his Advantage and drug plan. I can't get medicare for 5 more years.

RN there's 2 sheriff cars parked on the street in front of my north neighbors. And a whole bunch of regular cars parked on the street in front of my property. Nobody parks on the streets in this town unless you're having a party.
I know these neighbors haven't paid rent since forever and were being evicted. In fact, the owner of the property said the sheriffs were going to do it February 1 at 7 am. Nothing ever became of it. But I do know sheriffs take their own sweet time getting around to it.
The daughter (in her 30s) works at the local gas station store. I saw her 2 days ago and she told me they were moving on the 19th. It will be sad if they are being evicted today when they have a place to go to in 3 weeks. But then again, who knows if it is true. Supposedly they were moving out in March.
Oh, I just peaked out the window and I see black garbage bags in the back of the father's truck and the mother's (who has MS) subcompact back hatch door is open.
And it's a nice day out and I was going to go outside and garden. Now I have to hide inside. I don't want to be asked if I can store stuff. My mother was nice like that and when the people didn't come back after a few years, she got rid of their stuff and they were threatening to sue her. I don't know how she got out of it, if she paid them off or what.
I will miss them. They were quiet and never used the pool. I dread who will move in.

RN So sad! I don't particularly like my neighbors on each side, but I sure wouldn't want to trade them. Mainly because they tolerate all the dogs I babysit.

RN I feel bad about their beds. That is one thing they will need and there are 5 of them living in that house. That will be expensive to replace. Thankfully, it is nice weather today, and hopefully, they be able to get them and store them someplace today.

RN I can't believe it.
The old man that lives across the street from them is going through their bags that are on the street.
Not only is the body not cold, it's not dead yet! He must have been a grave robber in another life time.
And it's not like he is poor or needs money. Gross.

RN - Yes, I agree, Maris. But I think they haven't been paying their rent for years. I just can't imagine trying to start over at their age and health problems with what is coming for us.
And I can't believe it. An ice cream truck just came down the street and stopped in front of the house to see if anyone wanted to buy ice cream. 
Another thing to add to my list of why I hate ice cream trucks.

RN I just chased off all the landscaping trucks that stopped to take things from the pile. The sister and daughter have kept coming back to take more things. I have no clue if their coming back for more. But while I was out there, I saw a plastic container with personal papers in them. I should go back out and grab that.
One of the guys (the one who could speak english) told me he wanted the metal things. I told him he could take the rusted out fire pit and come back tomorrow for the rest. To just give them a chance. I hate this shit.

Oops, I meant son and daughter kept coming back. And I did go and get the container with the papers. I was going to save the old fashioned record player, too. It had a Beatles record on it. But it looked like it had dead bugs all in it, so I figured if they never cleaned it, it probably didn't have much sentimental value to them. And I shooed off another van that was stopping to take things. That's it for me. I'm done.

RN I just came back from the pile. This morning a bunch of landscaping trucks stopped there and took a bunch of stuff. I didn't stop them this time because nobody from the family came back last night, and they weren't there first thing in the morning. So, to me, it was fair game now.
I only went over there now to see if there were any more papers. There were quite a few boxes worth, and it's probably all garbage, but now I'm stuck with them. I'll probably regret it. Oh, people were stopping and looking at stuff while I was doing this.
Anyway, as I started to lug the last box over to my yard, an SUV pulled into the driveway. The guy rolled down the window and I think he asked if I lived next door. Turns out, he's the owner of the property.
We "chit chatted" for a while. He knew all about me, even though I never met him before. Granted, he used to live in that house for like forever and raised his kids there and is friends with my bf, so I'm hoping he knew all about me from him, and not from the fact that he was a cop (or he hung out with all the local cops) a long time ago. It made my spider senses go on alert. The cops, when I was growing up, were a notorious lot and not good. I feel safer now that they have all died off. Anyway, interesting conversation, he was fishing, hope I answered right and not give away to much and that I passed his test. I feel unsettled.
Oh, remember the old man I mentioned that lived across the street. He's an ex cop too. And the owner told me that he had 5 calls yesterday and today, from people wanting to buy the house. That, I can believe.

RN my spidey senses were right. I was on the phone with my bf and I asked him if he ever told the owner of the house or his wife where I lived before, and he said no. So, how did he know where I used to live? And he was never a cop. He was just good friends with all of them. Now I know to never to turn my back to him when nobody else is around.
