RN She hasnt met a shoe or a slipper she doesnt love. You have to be very fast when taking off your shoes because she grabs and runs with them. Then hides under a table so I can't reach her.

RN I read that dogs love shoes and slippers so much because that's where the scent of their owners is most concentrated.
RN The funniest thing happened yesterday. Sabrina, the Pilates instructor that rented a room here for 2 months waiting for her apt to be ready, came by for an afternoon visit (she comes by a couple times a week).
I want to preface this by saying if it was on America's home videos, we would win the grand prize of the whole season.
Sabrina was in the kitchen and went to open a 2 liter of Coke zero, and it slipped out of her hands, banged hard down on the countertop, and started shooting Coke zero over the stove, counter, floor, all over! That alone would have been funny, but the bang when it hit the countertop startled the dogs and they scattered like a room full of panicked rats, and one of them flipped a whole full bowl of dry food and it scattered across the floor, and another turned over the water bowl!
You never saw such a mess, and it took 3 seconds to make. LOL

RN Some guy pulled up in front of my house today and took a picture of it from in the car. I looked to see if he was stopping at other houses on the block to take pictures of them too, but it was just mine.

Nice that you gained a friend in Sabrina, though you hated losing her as a housemate.

No dog in the car and I don't think it would be a client. My address isn't advertised. Only the general area. I was looking on nextdoor and there were a couple people who said someone took a picture of their house, too. No one knows what it's about. Someone suggested it might have something to do with tax assessments.

RN OMG, My niece broke up with her fiance! I just found out why. It was a bunch of things. He wouldn't go with her to her Jewish conversion classes when here she was doing it all for him. He bought her some athletic shoes and said she was getting fat and for her start exercising more. A few more smaller things, but it came down to he wasn't treating her very nice.

I'm with Maris. Sounds like he might have been pushing for a break up, but to spineless to be honest about it.
Tell her to keep the shoes. They might be hard to come by in the near future.

She tried to give back the ring, but he told her to keep it. My SIL (her mom) thinks it's because he wants her to come back. I don't think he tried to get rid of her. She's way out of his league. She's drop dead gorgeous and he's a skinny nerd. No way on earth he can do better. Plus, she's an RN and makes a pretty good buck.

BUT, I still don't know how much because even though the status bar updated, the downloadable letter hasn't updated yet. It still has the old letter where it says the average wait for approval is 30 days. But I feel relieved!

RN Thanks! I am just so glad my part is done. Still 72 days!
One thing that makes it seem closer is that I know my benefits will start before Big Brother starts  And Big Brother seems close!
