I think that is very close if it's not it. I had to look up what a Viper 300ESP was, and I see it's a car alarm.

I assume there is a magnet in it that stuck to the doorknob? Might it have been in her purse when she looked at the room because how strange that it suddenly appeared on that door.

Yes, it was the Nun's room, a nurse, and for 2 weeks the pharmacist used it. I asked the pharmacist, she said it's not hers, waiting for a response from the nurse, and no way am I going to try to contact the nun. LOL It took too long to rid myself of her.

Not sure why someone would stick it to the doorknob and then not follow up with you when they realized they lost it.

If it’s the exact tracker from the link it doesn’t have a movement sensor, just a gps locator within 50ft, so it wouldn’t be able to tell whether a door opened or not. Doesn’t mean the crazy nun who put it there knew that though ;).
