I now have my own real estate agent 🙂 Carol. She's coming Monday to look at the house. She was recommended by that client of mine that is a retired agent. This is really going to happen. She said people won't even consider house offers until your own is on the market, so we have to get it on the market. If I can get it sold before the new year, I can avoid a giant tax bill next year.

I read something interesting in Facebook.
A poster said that their dog started acting strangely.
She was nervous and paced a lot.
Their veterinarian found nothing? physically wrong.
Then she asked the "Do you have Alexa?"
They had just bought one and plugged it in.
Some dogs respond to some of the frequencies in Alexa

That's wild. I haven't graduated to the technology of an Alexa yet.
Sugar, I have spotted a couple, but you can't even make an offer that will be accepted unless your own house is up sale already. So says Carol.

I have only bought homes twice. First was new and I had no home to sell. Just had to qualify for the loan.
When I bought again, homes weren't selling. I was able bro get a great price and pay cash, but it took 9 months to sell my original place.
I have heard of offers made contingent on a sale. Not sure how popular that would be.
Seems like even if you can't make an offer yet, you should be viewing potential homes, but hopefully your agent can help with that.

I had a kidney stone 2 years ago. Not knowing what it was, I thought I was going to die! The pain is unbelievable.
