This Kona storm is bringing everything but the kitchen sink to Hawaii — heavy rain, flooding, and even snow!

It is hitting our city Saturday evening. We get home from Texas Saturday afternoon in our light jackets and cloth shoes.

Bright, foggy, gray and we have some wind. It's going up to 60 and we expect showers off and on all day.

It’s 73F and we haven’t reached the warmest part of the day. Very much spring here, at least today, though two years ago yesterday we have a huge ice storm that took down a two almost three story tree in my yard. That’s the kind of variety of weather we get here in south central Texas.

We were supposed to possibly get major snow (for here in the Pacific Northwest where it almost never snows) yesterday, on the day we returned from three months in South Padre Island, TX). That didn't happen. But it is snowing now, and we have about 1.5" so far with temps below 32 F. There was thunder snow and a water/snow spout about 5 pm tonight about 25 miles north of us.

It's funny out. I can tell the sun is out there because there is a bright white ball to the left of all the gray / fog / black clouds. A very slight breeze and temps are going to 60

We have a Gale Warning and might get some rain later this afternoon.

We ended up with 3-5" at our house, while some parts of our not very large town only had a sprinkling.

Raining ... no real hard rain, it seems to be a consistent showers... making my balcony door wet but not getting my clean bedroom window!

Skies are bright and gray, no breeze for me with temps going to 60.

Gale and Small Craft Warnings for the Bay Areas.

Severe Thunderstorm warning for Marin County, winds up to 70mph, expect down trees. Anyone outdoors should move inside and stay away from windows. Lots of rain could cause flash floods.

Sunday's snow is still here, and we are not a town that is particularly equipped to handle snow. Temps are going below freezing every night for 10-day forecast. School was cancelled for three days, and some of the schools went back today, but there were a lot of injury accidents due to ice on the roads.

It's supposed to be raining but we have bright sunny skies with a bunch of clouds rolling thru. I can even see some blue patches. It's nice out, 56 going up to 58 and we only have a frost advisory.
