Hahahaha, I was laughing at the QVC hosts who said "The South is closed" due to the snow.
Looks like it is still pretty cold in the Northeast, Middle and South.
Oh now it seems VERY Cold in Colorado.

Sort of balmy here today in far south Texas, meaning I took my long johns off and only wore one (tropical weight) coat instead of two while walking the beach. AND we went into the heated outdoor pool to do water exercises.

Some nice dark clouds are out there with the sun shining out behind them, doesn't feel too cold and there is not breeze. Oh my I see my Evergreen Pear Tree has tiny white blossoms--- ACCK it's too soon!
We have a freeze watch starting at 1am...
Temps only going up to 58 with a slight chance of rain.

The rainfall that hit Southern California triggered mudslides Sunday, causing several cars to get stuck in the mud and many road closures. This comes as the region remains under a flood watch and concern for mudslides in burn areas persist. First responders said no one was hurt, nor did anyone need to be transported.

It warmed up here into the mid-60's in far south tropical Texas. Wind not too bad. We did water exercises in the heated outdoor pool.
We are departing for the coastal Pacific Northwest Friday.
