Oh and we had a 3.7 earthquake this morning at 8.49am. It was quick and I thought it was my cat jumping on my bed then it was over and I thought "oh, earthquake", and I went back to sleep, LOL.

It's a beautiful day, with a little breeze. Skies are blue and clear - the kitties have found the sunbeams to lay in. Temps are going to 61 but it already feels much warmer out.

14 degrees this morning. This is not normal!
And to add to it, every morning has been around 19 degrees since Christmas. Really not normal. We should be around the freezing point at this time of year.
We had such a warm fall that hibiscus and Mandevilles were still blooming at Thanksgiving. Definitely not normal. Then boom! A nonstop deep freeze. I really worry about the trees. Did this affect their ability to go into dormancy without any major problems.

I just woke up and it's 7°. It was probably colder earlier. And I complaining about it being 19° every morning. This is not normal.
Also, it was raining all Sunday night before it turned to snow, so of course, all of outside is a sheet of ice underneath an inch of snow. It's dangerous to walk out there and not going to change soon.
