Feels warmer today, currently 43, but the cloud cover seems to have kept it from getting too cold. Skies are bright with some blue showing thru the white stratus clouds.
We have no breeze and no rain with temps going to 55.

It hit 80 here today in South Padre Island, TX, with high winds from the south. In an hour or two the wind is going to switch to the north for a low of 52 by morning, with winds of 32 mph. Hopefully we can turn our AC off tomorrow. We had a brief cold snap a month or so ago, and we tried turning the AC off, but the indoor temp quickly went to upper 70's. The windows don't open, and even if they did, the humidity is so high here right at the Gulf of Mexico that one could go sliding on the condensation on the tile floors.

Forecast says we might get some sun this afternoon with temps going to 58.

A life-threatening, destructive windstorm is expected to hit Ventura and Los Angeles counties from Tuesday into Wednesday, the National Weather Service reports.
The strongest wind areas of LA and Ventura Counties will see widespread N-NE wind gusts of 50-80 mph, with isolated gusts up to 80-100 mph in the mountains and foothills, NWS reports.
