Bwahahaha on the leaf and snow culprit. Coal in her Christmas stocking! Hey, Naja, there is another revenue stream for you - creating and marketing beefcake calendars. I had no idea that "pack leader" meant animal abuse in the deep dog world.

RN I am going to attempt another technical adventure on Monday or Tuesday. The battery on my Asus ZenPad (android tablet) won't hold a charge anymore, so I am going to try to change the battery myself. The battery won't be here until at least Monday, and I have been studying the how to videos. I can see why people would just get a new tablet.

RN, Let me guess. It probably involves glue. Not for the faint hearted for sure.

Naja will be able to do it. She is the least faint of heart person in the top percentages of most everything.

RN LOL, Juju. I wish! RN Jimmer, judging by the videos, the original battery is in there with glue, but the replacement comes with narrow strips of double sided tape.

RN, It’s a bit easier with videos. Written instructions used to say things like “Apply reasonable force and it should pop out”, leaving you to try to figure out what “reasonable force” is. I was watching a plumbing video and the plumber was showing how to replace a cartridge. He was reading the written instructions which said to turn it with your hand and said “Yeah that’s just not going to work!”

RN haha, I've seen many of those videos, Jimmer. Instructions be damned! RN Just finished the meet and greet with Mocha and his owner wanting me to watch him for almost a month. He had me book the stay! Yay! That will be a nice payday.

RN Endo got the word yesterday that it's official, his contract is renewed and he'll be back in January after a little break. He's still here for a week or more.

RN Now if I would only hear from the mom of the fireman in training, then I think I can make it to June just fine.

What a bummer.... And disappointing. Do you have a cancellation fee?

RN I do charge a cancellation fee, but only for same day cancellations. This guy's excuse was that his friend offered to babysit his dog instead.

Oh.. Well hopefully the friend and his dog know each other and the friend is an experienced dog person. Maybe another dog will come your way....

RN, unfortunately it's a common problem in the dog walking/boarding business (and other small businesses as well). People find a neighbor, friend or kid who is willing to do it for a comparatively low amount or even for free. They take their chances and trade professional quality, reliability and experience for a lower cost.
