Guessing the sofas are pull-out beds.

Wait, was there a kitchen? stove? refrigerator? beer cooler? Had to go back and look. Yes, and the beer cooler was bigger than the refrigerator, LOL.

Looked like the kitchen was a converted sun porch?

Also, a lot of "game room" in that house. Could certainly be converted partly to a bedroom.

RN Found out last night that Endo's son was just let go from the New Orleans Saints practice squad and today he was on his way to Indianapolis to see if he can get a spot on the Colts practice squad. Of course he hopes to be noticed to make the real team.

RN He's a cool guy. I also found out he's older than I thought. He's 49. I thought he was in his 30s.

RN So far it's been pretty easy living with a guy. The only real difference at this point is I have to get dressed in the bathroom after my shower if he's home. With just girls here we all just went from the bathroom to our rooms in our towels.

Hmmmm, sounds like you need a nice long fluffy robe, Barefoot Dreams, for the walk to your bedroom.

RN Waaaay too pricey for me right now :-) But I've always thought they had nice stuff. I remember Janelle's robe.

RN I am really excited and more than happy to say Mrs Mack has been offered and has accepted the position of Director, Resource Management, Defense Health Agency. Initially kind of a step sideways but the position is already in the consideration pipeline to be a Senior Executive System position….for a civil basically making general in the military. This is a case of “playing the long game” because if she didn’t take the position the next incumbent would have the advantage.

RN I am in the hospital, laid up with a fractured patella. In about two days, I will be moved to the Hospitals rehab department where physical therapy will work with me twice daily. The ortho doctor said the patella fractures can heal on their own and that I’ll have to wear this humongous leg brace 6 to 8 weeks. If anyone been through this type of situation, tell me what to expect or what you went through as you were healing thanks.

RN Mondo Congrats to the Mrs!!! Impressive.

Sorry about your injury Eggie. 🫂 I've only had hairline rib and toe fractures, so I'm no help.

Glad Endo is a good tenant.

Naja, I might need your address.. And your tenant sounds great..

RN Big congrats to Mrs Mack!! Making good moves.

Eggie, ouch!

I have not broken a patella. Had a broken ACL anterior cruciate ligament and wore a large leg brace for years. Push for a better quality one if you can. And if you can wear the brace over leggings, good, if not there might be a neoprene sleeve you can wear under the brace if it irritates your skin.

I also have two braces from the fracture of my tibia and for pain from the joint, Not currently wearing one most of the timr.

Curious about a brace for the time doing pt while your fracture heals. My pt went from late May to early December before the fracture was pronounced healed, but, Eggie, it sure sounds painful.. 6-8 weeks sounds good!

The hardest thing for me was walking on crutches while not putting any weight on the bad leg. And if you will be able to drive, don't hesitate to get a temporary handicap placcard.

Which leg is involved?

Is this the hospital where you worked?

Eggie, even if you can't drive, if you have places to go like outpatient PT, A placard would help for parking closer and sometimes just finding A place.
