Loved the video and actually expected that one of them was going to go find a ball. They all seemed to be looking.

RN Oh yes, I know at least a couple of you got me some liquid Tide on the first day, but they must be delayed because that's the only thing not showing up.

But look how much stuff has gotten here! OMG! Thank you everyone! I think I will make it through the winter not having to get these supplies.

OH, 2 bags of dogs chews game without a name today. Thank you whomever you are!
You all have made my heart melt.

Yes, there seems to be a delay with jugs of liquid Tide..but you have room for them when they do arrive.

Dolly will think Rusty has moved in.. And I am sure his mom loves getting your reports.

Yes.. How funny.. I have has a day where nothing went right, or everything required massive effort. So I got the email saying package delivered but didn't look or even process that the email was from Amazon, where I send my packages to Amazon Lockers.. But I have some stuff coming here.. So I look and no package.. But before I got too frazzled, I realized it had to be your package, so.. Yay!

RN, so weird Seamonkey I have been having an odd day myself. Is there some sort of astrological event occurring, like Mercury in retrograde or something?? Off to google.

It was super hot here. I was going to attend the Alzheimer's Conference so I set my clock for 7. Then I looked at one email with the zoom link and it said it started at 7am! Now I have attended this conference for years and in person I used to get there that early to get a really good parking space and such.. but this sounded like it started at 7. So I rushed along, logged in and it wasn't open on zoom. Found a second email saying it started at 9! I could have used that extra hour of sleep.

Opened doors to get cool air before it got hotter and the gardeners started using gas powered equipment by front door so had to close that.

I had charged my laptop over night. My desktop died.

So finally it started and the sound was terrible. Laptop sound isn't the best, but it is fine for zooms and loud enough to hear even from across the room.

So I asked for help.. It seemed to be an issue with Mic use but still super hard to hear. I put on closed captions but it was pretty garbled. The tech guy said try headphones.. I tried three and none worked. Blame the laptop.

Finally he said I could call in and get sound via phone. That worked but I ended up running out of battery twice. Luckily I have three handsets.

And the gardeners kept returning with louder equipment.

During breaks and lunch I wanted to listen to podcasts and of course the sound on the sponsor commercials was loud and clear. Many other things were frustrating, but the conference was good.

And when I popped out to get my mail, the heat was like a blast furnace!

I have to dismantle the desktop and take it in on Monday. The tech guy thinks he can get it going and even get it to work with Windows11, but I checked back when they announced that support OT 10 would stop and my computer was deemed unsuitable for hardware upgrade.

But I need him to retrieve my files anyway. And I think it is truly dead. If I get a new computer, I hope it will work with my monitor, webcam, printer, speakers, keyboard and mouse, headphones and external mic. Technology is so great until it isn't.

RN Unreal! I can't even imagine how the heat compounded the problem. I hear it's 118 in some places over there!

And the laptop is heavy and I had to keep getting up and down with it. A little fan kept toppling over. What a mess

I saw that Newport Beach hit 95 and they are on the coast.. Disneyland was like 105.

RN Mrs Mack started feeling off about noon today. She went to bed and got up about 45 minutes ago. Tested her twice for Covid and the test came back positive both times. Will get her meds tomorrow and test myself either tonight or tomorrow morning. I’ll be in the guest room for the next few nights.

RN, love the chase videos. Dolly and Khan know their names! I bet Rusty does too.

RN, sorry to hear about Mrs. Mack testing positive. Hope she qualifies for Paxlovid, if they are even still giving it. It was a miracle drug for me.

Yes, Mack, I hope she can get Paxlovid and whatever else the doctor suggests. And recently I am hearing that it is best not to jump back into active workouts or exertion too soon.

RN Rusty didn't start out liking Patsy, but now he does. This makes Patsy so happy! Just look at her tail.

Rusty is a good one, Naja!

Hope your wife recovers quickly, Mack, and that you stay negative test wise.

RN just got back from urgent care and the pharmacy. Mrs Mack does have confirmed Covid so doctor prescribed Paxlovid and three other meds. The full retail price of Paxlovid is crazy. According the pharmacy it’s $1,750. We paid $25 for it. All together the four meds were $37.50 for about $2,000 of supposed retail cost. I tested this morning and was negative…..at least so far.
