RN At the suggestion of Seamonkey, I made a small list of some things I need from Amazon, mostly for laundry. I am so grateful for all the help I am getting. Thank you so much. I know people can feel weird about giving money, and would rather give items instead. Amazon wish list https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2CMOBB7SDKQ1?ref_=wl_share And reposting my Go Fund Me page with my story of why I need help. https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-naji-and-her-dogs-through-tough-times Hugs to you all

RN You have no idea how much stress is relieved right now, Kar! Thank you :-) I have a last minute booking with a Boston terrier today. He'll be here at 4 and stay 2 nights. To me he looks like a little devil disguised as a cute dog. We'll see. His name is Popeye. I told them to come early so they can wait until he's comfortable with my dogs. Then I have a black Lab puppy named Julian coming at 6. But he's only here for a few hours during a dinner date.

RN Here are just a few seconds of Barry Manilow singing "Looks Like We Made It" at his final Kansas City concert 8/25/24. It's one of the only videos that survived my camera. For some reason most of them were corrupt My brother is going to try to repair them, but I tried about 5 different video repair programs and I couldn't fix any but 1 of them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJ0rc3LpkkY

RN I wrote you back, Mak! Now I know how you got your screen name Thank you so much! Popeye cancelled. And Julian ended up being an 8 month old pit bull. He's still here and won't settle down. He just wants to keep playing. Poor Dolly is getting aggravated.

RN I remember years ago reading the story how you got you screen name, Seamonkey, and for the life of me I can't remember story. Would you mind telling the story again? And thank you SO much, Seamonkey. I hope you got my thank you email. Dolly played for about 2 hours with the puppy, but when she wanted to rest, he wouldn't let her. Good thing he was only here for about 4 hours. I'm just happy I get to have time with him while he's a puppy because it sounded like the guy wants to bring him back regularly. This way I can instill in the puppy while he's young how he's supposed to act around here.

I haven't seen an email. Will look in spam. Nope. Not a problem, as long as you get some help, which you are, and I still hope you get another great renter. I sent you one item from Amazon.. And we got it free with points on a Prime Visa I don't use unless someone won't take Discover..

RN.. one of my first communities online was an email group for web design after I took a class in beginning web design. Pretty sure the list was Linda Weinman's and there were several thousand web designers.. Actual real ones. The list was sold and thrived, but then it was sold in a way for someone to just get all the email addresses. People were not pleased. Then woman named Barbara from NYC formed Websociology, affectionately coming to be known as Websocks. This was still all done by emails with access through yahoogroups, and several other similar group functions. Most of, but not all, of the members were web designers, but very interesting people from around the world. Very supportive. We had Friday night chats with members across US and Canada, Australia, Norway... We went through 9/11, with real concerns about several members in Manhattan. I went to meet ups in Hood River, Oregon, Albany NY, met people when I was in Chicago, met others from that group after a TVCH meet in Mystic, CT.. took the train back to Boston and met Sockies in Cambridge, Mass. We went through babies born, brain tumors .. We had av24 hour chat to usher in the year 2000. Then it slipped that Barbara had added people from her master's program and she defended against anyone calling them lurkers who never posted.. They were valued by her.. Oh but then she admitted that they were there to observe us, read our posts and then give her feedback off list for her thesis! The thesis itself wasn't the issue, but the secrecy and using of this really great community was an issue. The group imploded. One member from Canada who I met several times, said she felt like she was a Seamonkey sent for experiments. That name was taken in some places, but I got it here and maybe on Jokers, though I don't actually post or read there. So other places, like Scopley Yahtzee with Friends, I am SeaSnork.

RN That's crazy! I would have been so ticked off! But it's still a great screen name. I resent the note I sent you and added to it.

RN Tiny dog arrives in about 90 minutes! Rusty. I can't wait to post the pictures and videos. Thank you for the Amazon gift, Seamonkey! I don't know how to tell who got me the other Amazon stuff, but THANK YOU! Maybe it will say on a note in the package when it comes.
