RN, Mack, I had a tv that I couldn't turn off for a few years because it was unreliable turning it back on... just muted the sound and threw a towel over it.... milked a few more years out of it before the picture died entirely.

RN I just wanted to say my nephew said it's best not to go with something where the operating system is tied to a streaming service. Like Roku TV, Amazon fire TV, etc. Yes, I know a lot of people like them.

I got this LG one with webOS.

FWIW, I got a Roku TV and I use it without a Roku subscription with no issues. I wonder why he said that?

RN I don't know. But like I said, a lot of people like it. It's all in the user interface I guess.

RN Mr. Handsome's dog has fleas and ticks and he didn't say a word! He just stuck a flea collar on her and thought that took care of it!

I treated her with some stuff I had leftover before my dogs switched to the once a month pill and I removed the ticks with Yolanda's help. I thought it was odd Aurora had a flea collar on when she got here.

Mr. Handsome---- Strike 1!

RN we now have two new Samsung Neo QLED flat screens, a 55” in the family room and the just installed 75” in the theater. We’ve had the family room Samsung for a few months and really like it so when the theater tv broke we just bought a bigger version of the same model. I used to be a pretty diehard Sony tv guy but Mrs Mack introduced me to Samsung when we got married and that’s our go to brand now. We do have one 40” Vizio LED that’s now in the guest room but was bought because it fit in a now gone entertainment center in the family room.

RN, BAD, bad, bad Mr. Handsome! If the other dogs go home with his poor dog's fleas, that is going to be really bad for business.

Oh, and RN, Bigdog just told me yesterday that our big TV is going out. It is about 8 years old.

My one tv is a 58 or 60" Samsung. Smart, but I have never used the smart part. And I don't stream to it.

Mack, sounds like you are well set up now.

Eeek to the fleas and ticks! He definitely should pay extra.

RN And to top it all off, the fleas on her body were supposed to be dead by today, but they looked happy and were jumping around. So I had to use same day shipping to get some strong flea shampoo ($22). Then I had to put the dogs and some loose things like the dogs beds and the ottoman in the kitchen in order to vacuum and later steam clean the carpets. IN the time it took me to vacuum the hallway, Aurora chewed up one of the dogs beds. Thank goodness it was the small one. $30.

I texted Mr. Handsome with the daily report but he hasn't texted back yet.

RN, Naja, if you can clean it well (no fleas), you can stuff that egg crate into a different bed that has a zipper. All my dog beds have become much cushier thanks to a few fosters!

RN The covers and egg crate parts are ok. I had taken the covers off to wash them. It's the part that makes the cushiony head rest around the bed. The long noodly thing.

eta: she did chew the corner off one of the egg crate cushion things, but I can live with that.

RN stay away from me! I’m the “Typhoid Mack” of electronic devices. Hardly 48 hours after I lost my big TV in our theater my iPad decided it’s time had passed. I knew there was an issue with the charging port. Had taken it in to repair shop….naturally it was out of warranty….and they said the port was worn out and they could maybe fix it for what was a few hundred dollars. Nursed it along but early today it failed. I’m typing on my new iPad picked up from BextBuy. 😩😬

LOL, that dog next door is a really, really good classroom helper. But, ALL of your dogs, both domestic and imported, are also very, very good.

RN, good job, Naja, in achieving this serene level of dog-tude-iness.

RN Seamonkey, yes. Mr. Handsome apologized. He said he thought the flea collar took care of it. He said he'll reimburse me for the flea supplies and the bed she chewed up.

RN the pit bulls' mom assured me things will be fine with other dogs. It's just so hard to accept when their play growls and barks sound 10x scarier than most other dogs fighting and attack sounds. That's something that's hard to get used to.
