How on earth do you - and others - eat these heavy meals at night? Our main meal: soup and/or salad,
choice of three entrees with up to four sides and dessert is served midday with beverages choices which include wine at lunch and dinner.

Well dinner times are 4:15 and 5:15 so plenty of time to digest, LOL.
Pot roast was so excellent, the gravy had mushrooms and onions and all sorts of good stuff.

Carnitas -- slow roasted pork carnitas
OR Chicken and Cheese Tamales
Both served with rice and beans.

Ok, Carnitas were great, tamale not so much but then I haven't really ever been a fan of tamales so maybe they were fine.

Ya know I luv ya Scoots, but, IMHO vinegar is the devil's peepee. (Shudder)
(Truly, the stench, I can't call it a smell, makes me nauseous. Years ago, when I was a hostess at a restaurant I had to wipe down the tables with a rag soaked in vinegar. Hate the stink to this day. In my old hometown Montreal, they LOVE vinegar on French fries. I prefer ketchup or honey on mine, thanks.)

LOL, last night was .... Dijon Chicken -- roasted chicken with a mushroom, artichoke and dijon sauce with root vegetables on the side.
OR
Lamb Stew - Slow cooked with mixed vegetables in a tomato based stew with potatoes.

Carlton Dog's are BACK!!! they are the special sandwich this week along with Iceberg Wedge for the salad and Russet for the baked potato.
I will look at the dinners tonight and then decide if I am having a Carlton Dog instead, LOL.

Carne Asada Burrito -- burrito with beef rice, beans and cheese, topped with sour cream and a side of salsa OR
