Ok, I am cracking up watching the Weather Channel, the lady who is in Kansas City, I think, you can hardly even see her eyes. She is so cute, earlier she said she had on about 10 layers of clothing under her bright blue parka, black mask (she said it keeps her face warm) and black gloves.
OMG< and here is another one, she has a ski hat but you can barley see her eyes too.
They are so cute!

Officially 17F at the airport here in San Antonio at 9 AM. I got up at 6 AM and it was 12F at the airport and 22F on our patio. Should “warm up” to just below freezing today. Since our water heaters are in external closets without heating or cooling I left a couple of faucets on dribble at night long. Had them partially freeze a couple of years ago in the infamous Texas power outage so not taking a chance.

Kind of cold, currently 42 going up to 54. Right now skies are gray and hazy, with no breeze.
Humidity is high but chances of rain are pretty low.
Time to check the weather channel to see how bad it is in the middle and east.

Nice outside!! It is cold, for us, but not complaining because the rest of the country is actually freezing!!
Currently 49 going up to 57, and the sun is shining bright with not a cloud in sight. No breeze yet.

So, I’m stuck in the Bay Area after 2 flight cancellations back to Portland. Won’t get home until Monday. No worries, I decided to head to Santa Clara to go to the Niners game today. It’s in the 20’s and icy in Portland. I found it hilarious that the local people are saying to dress warmly for the game cause it’s going to be in the low 60’s! Hilarious.

Maybe there is a wind chill in the stadium, the old one got pretty cold even on warm days.

We were in blizzard conditions from Thursday evening until last night (Saturday) here on the west coast of Michigan. Today we "downgraded" to only a winter weather advisory, but as it continued to snow all day, we stayed put. Our family is only an hour away, but with the roads not plowed and whiteouts whenever the wind gusts, discretion was the better part of valor. We'll celebrate the holidays next weekend instead, and my brothers were able to get to my parents as they live in the same town.
It's still cold, but at least Lake Michigan has kept us above zero temp. wise and windchills were "only"-20, not the -70 some other states were getting. It's almost balmy tonight at 14!

Rain is coming later tonight so there is a flood watch for Marin and the coastlines.
Gale warning for the bay on Tuesdays and Snow Storm Warning for the Sierras!
YEAH, it's winter.

Our first major storm of the winter arrives tonight, beginning near 5 PM in the North Bay spreading across the entire bay area by 8 PM. Heaviest rain will be Tuesday 1 AM to 7 AM. Expect gusty winds up to 50 mph in the higher elevations. There will be down trees powerlines. #CAwx
