RN Mrs Mack is sound asleep in her own bed. We got her home about 11PM last night and she was in bed by midnight. All flights were on time and other than the typical hassles of international travel and flying in general nowadays she made it fine.

This goes with my Mr Chicken I got in Nove, Italy 37 years ago.

RN, we were in Vegas this weekend and we were thinking about the 2 trips we had there years ago. We have so many fun memories with the TVCH friends!

RN I am a nervous wreck. Cracked a tooth Monday and got into my dentist yesterday morning. He immediately referred me to an oral surgeon as the tooth is beyond saving. Called the surgeon’s office and they said they had an opening Thursday morning. Will do the extraction and start the implant procedure at the same time. Same surgeon who did my wife’s broken tooth and implant in the height of the Covid pandemic in 2020. Anyhow, I am a dental wuss…..sigh.

RN You'll be fine! It's funny how some people are scared, but then there are people like me that love going to the dentist. The only part I hated about my root canal was feeling like I was hanging upside down for an hour.

RN I was only gone for an hour this morning for my mammogram. In and out! Love it.

After spending way too much time at the dentist when I was young, I absolutely hate going to the dentist, but I force myself to go in order to avoid issues that will cause me to go even more. In fact, when I got a new dentist, the first thing it told him was that I hate going to the dentist, but please don’t take it personally.

Mack, fellow dentist wuss here, likely due to bad dental visits as a kid.
To be fair, I think the dental profession has made great improvements since I was a kid. I had to have a lot of dental work done prior to some surgeries and after finding a good dentist things went relatively smoothly. I recall seeing a specialist who was concerned as I was gripping my hands so tightly in fear of potential pain and unpleasantness. He was very kind, explained what he was going to do and worked to relax my trepidations.

RN this morning turned out to be a practice dental anxiety morning. Surgeon was unavailable at the last minute but they offered to “squeeze me in” with a new associate. They had a Monday opening with our requested surgeon so took that.

RN Well now I also have anxiety. I had my annual mammogram yesterday and they just called to say they saw a "density" in the right boob. I am scheduled for an ultrasound Monday.

RN I have been trying to capture this for ages! You know how dogs' ears sometimes get stuck bent back? Well Dolly's don't do that.They get stuck in the funniest bent up position. When both ears do it at the same time, she looks like the Flying Nun. haha! But I finally caught one ear up.
