Yes, they had this weird skinny long necked flashlight that they put down into the tiny purses that were allowed in, it was funny. My friend said she had the same problem when they flew down to see a baseball game in San Diego, so it may be a common thing now.

Finished up the paper, had a nice brunch and a lovely day just lounging around. I did clear email so I should go see if there is anything interesting in twitter.

Monday's Mission http://www.flylady.net/c/fp.php?tzm=420 Got my new lists made and I re-did my Christmas List so I could add more, LOL. Not really that many things that I have thought of, but need room if I think of anything else. Got my email cleared, now working on Twitter.

Set the timer for 15 and got busy. Unloaded the dishwasher, refilled the pill container, dustbusted the bathroom floors and rug, then dumped the dustbuster. Next work on some email stuff and finish twitter

Tuesday's Mission http://www.flylady.net/c/fp.php?tzm=420 Got the coffee brewing while I dealt with some office stuff. My new Credit Card came so I need to activate that and then go around and change all the places where I deleted it before. Also Housekeeping is coming tomorrow instead of Thursday so I have some chores around that. I am changing the sheets and comforter, which was on my list for today. I want to wash the blanket and comforter and use the new one I got back from the cleaners. Laudry room is getting some upgrades so I guess I will do laundry on Thursday, I think there may be a rush once they reopen it either today or tomorrow morning. Off to grab my coffee and finish the bed, LOL.

Card activated!! Dustbusted the bathroom, oh and the sheets have been changed and the new comforter used. I swear, I guess I just have to get rid of this comforter, it was great the first time I used it but now everytime it is washed it comes out very wrinkled. I even sent it off to the cleaners, they actually called me about it, LOL. And they did the best they could but it still has more wrinkles than I want, so now I will be shopping for a new "winter comforter". They did tell me the problem is that it is made with 3 different fabrics that don't really work well together, so I will get a new one and donate this one.

Wednesday's Mission http://www.flylady.net/c/fp.php?tzm=420 So frustrating, I can't find any comforters that I like. Have to put my sister on it, she might see one that would work and she knows the decor of my house. Working on email / twitter and getting my VISA card reintroduced to all my accounts, LOL. Got the house ready for housekeeping and I am researching my next article for the newsletter "Grocery Delivery is for the Rich?????". Of course it's not but that seems to be the impression some of the residents have and there are a few who should not be carrying groceries! Off to work on my chores.

Got my Grocery Delivery article done, that was an experience. Just want a little information on their delivery practices and it was hard to glean it out. Housekeeping came a did a perfunctory job, I think she had to cram more apartments in today because she is off tomorrow, so didn't spend as much time as normal. I am happy though, the floors are vac'd and mopped, the kitchen is all clean and the bathoom has been cleaned. So that works for me. I have got most of the stuff put back where it belongs, but I SWEAR there is already kitty litter tracked to the living room. I hate the current litter, thank goodness it is almost gone! It was the TidyCats Light. I should have remembered that the light kind tracks all over the place. We are next trying Arm & Hammer, the internet said it is the best for not tracking ... we shall see. Off to see about dinner. It is interesting now because they are down staff, so have tried some new things for serving, and they are actually better! Oh, email and twitter are done.

Hey, Dipo, any chance you would allow me use your Grocery Delivery article for MY over-55 community's newsletter? I would credit you as the author. I am supposed to be writing general interest articles and posting them on our website as a way of forcing people to have to use the website if they want to read the article, but I have been a bit remiss since I started traveling again after the worst of the pandemic. My email address is in my profile. And, as far as the comforter, maybe consider a modern version of the old reversible quilt? With a lightweight blanket under it, it seems to have the warmth of a comforter, but gives you the option of flinging off a layer if you should get too hot. You can change your look just by turning it over. It is also machine-washable without having to pay dry-cleaning bills. Like these: https://www.overstock.com/c/bedding/quilts-bedspreads?t=11 Whoa! There are several there that I LOVE on just page 1 alone! Good thing I am not in the market.

Wow I will peruse those; I don't have a problem using a quilt never thought of it. You can use any of the information I gathered, not concerned about credit. I will send you the research and the article I wrote, not sure how much will apply to where you are, but it will give you a start,.

Thursday's Mission http://www.flylady.net/c/fp.php?tzm=420 Didn't realize I didn't come in here earlier. Email is done, working on twitter. JuJu, I did look at the quilts and found a few that I like. My sister is coming over tomorrow so I will get her opinion and then purchase one. Also found some cute Thanksgiving Flags / Banners I can put out on my wall when I take down the Halloween stuff. For now getting back to my list which is mostly office stuff, but I need to get the printer back in action. Apparently there is a meeting of the "Communication Committee" tonight. I don't really want to be on a committee, I just like to do research and write up my findings. But I will go and see what they need. Currently they are installing a new smoke detector. Mine keeps having a "beep" every now and again.

Maintenance had to go and get an entire new smoke detector because the batter didn't need replacing and as I suspected, it is hard-wired into the ceiling. But it kept beeping even while Raul was trying to replace it, so brand new one installed. Just finished replacing all my ink cartridges in the printer so that it will stop thinking it is part of the HPInstantInk program. It seems to still think it is on the program but when I way OK, it will print my documents. So this is going to be annoying that I have to get up and go over to it everytime I need to print. Thank goodness I don't have to print that much anymore. I only needed to print the article I wrote so that I could take copies to the meeting tonight.

LOL, so before I dealt with the printer I reorganized my 3 shelf bookcase next to my desk. Got rid of a bunch of stuff, moved one of the organizer trays over to the printer to hold the paper, then changed the stuff on the first shelf. Sylvester has now decided that I did it for him and has crawled in there and laid down, LOL. It is so funny because I can hardly see him, he is black and silver, and seems totally happy hiding in there.

Dipo, when you get the chance (well, you can probably also Google it and find a quick solution), go into the printer settings and noodle around, and you will probably find some setting that has a box ticked that you are using the HPInstantInk program, and once you untick it, all will be well. You can Google that method as well. Using a quilt and lightweight blanket does involve more bed-making when changing the sheets than using a comforter that doubles as a bedspread. Oh, and we used duvets for years. The outer wrapper of the comforter comes off for washing. If you get a duvet, there is a very cool and easy way roll the duvet cover onto the comforter and then unroll it, and it magically inserts itself when you unroll it, rather than wrestling the comforter into the cover.

Thank you Juju !!! I found a box to unclick that was for HP blah blah blah, it didn't say the inkprogram, I think is said special programs or something like that. I unchecked it and will see if that changes anything. It was a challenge to get there, but I kept looking around.

Friday's Mission http://www.flylady.net/c/fp.php?tzm=420 Meeting went well last night, I think the "editor" is really looking for someone else to take over putting the info into publisher. I am going to look and see if that program came with my new Office upgrade. This morning not too much planned, my sister is coming over to go to lunch, then we will probably stop by the dollar store for a couple of odds and ends. So funny, I never went to the dollar store at my old home, I don't even know where one is close to that location, but this one is practically across the street so everyone goes there, LOL. Off to have some yogurt and read the paper.

Excellent lunch and my hair went "Texas" on me, LOL, my new product makes it go high, hahahaha. Couldn't find any black flat kitties at the dollar store and I didn't like the thanksgiving things, so I purchased a nice Thanksgiving banner and a new comforter from Overstock.com Gave my sister a couple of my Stasher bags, I have so many from my starter pack. Now I need to decide what I am doing for the rest of the afternoon/evening. I am stuffed and have leftovers.

Yay, Dipo!! Productive day. I haven't been to Dollartree since it went to Dollarandaquartertree, but it's still pretty cheap, LOL. I am just sort of doing a ridiculous protest of suddenly raising prices on everything in the store by 25%. Glad you found a comforter you like.

Hahahaha, I got 2 things, a "Stick Up" to put in the used litter container (it was stinky when I opened it) and a spider decoration for my wall. It was $2.50; I really expected the spider to be more, LOL.
